The original Landsborough Shire Council Chambers were designed in 1924 by renowned architect Walter Carey Voller and built from local timbers by A.E. Round in 1988 using funding from the Bicentenary. The old building was revamped and a new building of mud brick construction was added. The complex was re-opened on Australia Day 1988, by J.L. Beausang last chairman of Landsborough Shire and first mayor of Caloundra City as the Landsborough Museum. At its meeting on 25 June 1999, the Heritage Council resolved to enter the 'former Landsborough Shire Council Chambers' in the Queensland Heritage Register. Its mission is to collect, research, conserve, interpret and exhibit the artefacts, memorabilia, documents, photographs and stories of indigenous and non-indigenous peoples whose heritage can be linked to that region, known in the year 2000, as Caloundra City.

Big Kart Track is the largest commercial go kart track In Australia. They have 50 karts going on their 1.2 kilometre long international standard race track at 60 kilometres per hour. They are open seven days a week. A perfect venue for your company, social club or association to have an action-packed experience whilst doing some teambuilding in full fun!!! Maleny Dairies is a family owned business situated in the picturesque hills of Maleny. The process of milking their Guernsey girls and bottling their creamy goodness for your breakfast table is a fascinating one. On their tours you get to see where it all happens on a real working dairy farm, a visit to the dairy, the farm & to the factory with a short 10 minute movie with taste testing afterwards. You will learn a lot about the process of milk from the cow to the bottle and all the different products that they are so famous for.

You do not have to purchase a tour to enjoy their property. They have a kiosk serving coffees and light refreshments and you are free to enjoy the view whilst enjoying a coffee or your picnic lunch. Bring an esky for your  purchases of their delicious dairy products.

Maleny Cheese Cafe is a cheese lovers heaven and destination food attraction. It is positioned in the unique Australian dairy region of the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Maleny Cheese showcases and sells its products, all of which are made from locally sourced milk. Produced in a small purpose built factory, using Maleny Dairies rich guernsey milk and cream, real fruit and imported Italian bases, the gelato has won numerous awards since the business opened in 2001. A refreshing range of smooth and creamy dairy free sorbets packed full of real fruit and delicious flavour also feature in their range. Visitors to the store can experience a wide range of Australian and International cheeses which are located in a wonderful walk in fromagerie (cheese room). Many cheeses are cut straight from the wheel allowing the customer to purchase a truly authentic product. The cafe serves freshly prepared meals and great coffee made by experienced and well trained baristas. Shelves are stocked with gourmet oils, balsamics, relishes and pastes.
