Lonsdale Golf Club is a highly regarded 18-hole sandbelt course with a varied layout situated on beautiful Lake Victoria, conveniently located in Point Lonsdale on the Bellarine Peninsula. The nearby Rip at the opening of Port Phillip Bay to the sea, is one of the Bellarine region's many stunning attractions along with wineries, cafes, restaurants and accommodation. One and a half hours drive from Melbourne, the Lonsdale Golf Club course is a par 71 of 5,700 metres for men and par 72 of 5,200 metres for women. The Club offers an on course teaching professional, well-stocked pro shop and three practice areas. The spacious clubhouse provides members and visitors with a welcoming atmosphere, bar and dining facilities including before and after golf snacks, lunches and a la carte dining. The Club attracts members locally and from Melbourne, with the current membership around 1,000.

Located near the mouth of Barwon River, Barwon Bluff Marine Sanctuary protects 17ha of predominately composed of reef. The eastern half of the reef is basalt, formed from lava flow, and is exposed to the flow of the river. The western side is old sandstone and influenced by ocean swell. On the outer edges of the reef are the wrecks of two ships. The variation in conditions across the reef results in the presence of a huge diversity of plants and animals. Visitors can see anything from feather stars and barnacles to rock lobsters, rays and schools of fish. Thirteenth Beach Golf Links began back in the early 1920s, when the Australian Jam Company purchased 405 acres at Thirteenth Beach and established an asparagus farm. The original diesel pump which provided water for irrigation is still beside the 5th tee of The Beach Course. Asparagus farming ceased in the early 1970s when the property was acquired for beef cattle production. The size of the property was subsequently increased to over 830 acres. In 1999, a joint venture was established to create a premium golf and residential precinct on 520 acres. The master plan allowed for 36 holes of golf, clubhouse facility 150 residential allotments and 150 condominiums. The Beach Course (designed by Tony Cashmore), the first 18 hole course, is set along the property's two kilometres of surf beach frontage. The course was opened for play on the first December 2001. The course has already been ranked among Australia's Best 20 Golf Courses by two national golf magazines. The Creek Course (designed by Sir Nick Faldo and Tony Cashmore), spanning 6,401 metres has 18 holes and was opened for play on 1 January 2004 to wide acclaim.

Lonsdale Hydroponics is a family owned and run local produce business built in 1998 by Andrew and Helen Pearson and is now run by their nephew Jamie Moran. Lonsdale Hydroponics offers vine ripened tomatoes, the way nature intended. In addition to the produce they grow on site, they also have a range of high-quality seasonal produce, chutneys and sauces available for sale. Lonsdale Hydroponics supply supermarkets and selected restaurants from Queenscliff to Anglesea. When you have a greenhouse as big as they do at Lonsdale Hydroponics, you can grow all sorts of beautiful varieties. They have 6,000 tomato plants including Truss, round, roma, cherry, and big red monsters as big as your fist. Along with tomatoes, Lonsdale Hydroponics grow a huge range of lettuce as well. The riding school has been run by the Lamperd family for the past 40 years. Robin Lamperd began the school in Wallington as part of Koombahla Park Equestrian Centre in 1974 up until 2010. Robin's son, Murray Lamperd, took over the running of the riding school in 2005. Murray's vision for the riding school and equestrian team meant there was a growing need for updated facilities and a more specific training environment. Because of this, the riding school made the move to the new location at the end of Barry's Lane, just behind the old property, in November of 2010. This move has seen new life into the school horses with better grazing and an excellent surface for riding. It has also created a more inclusive and encouraging environment for the riders entering the competition world, and enabled Murray to focus more intensively on preparing his horses and students for the competition season.

Jane Kempe, international fine artist is best known for her vividly colored paintings inspired by the sea and the tropics. 

“I’m fascinated by the colour and movement of the beach, coral reefs and yachts sailing across the sea.”

Her dynamic career has taken Jane to Hamilton Island, Australia as resident artist since 2008 and exhibiting in Italy and France.
In 2016 Jane was invited to the Maldives as resident artist on a creative cultural exchange.
This artist has a multiplicity of styles. Commission pieces and gallery works are held in private collections around Australia and globally.

Banks Road Vineyard is a small family run vineyard and winery on the Bellarine Peninsula just outside Geelong, on approximately 12 acres. The 12 acres of grapes planted including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz, which suits their coastal climate. They also source Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes from the Harcourt Valley near Bendigo. Banks Road Vineyard look forward to welcoming you to the vineyard. The Barrgowan Vineyard and Winery is owned and operated by the Simonsen family. Vines were planted in 1994 with the objective of producing a high quality Shiraz for private consumption. This specialisation in Shiraz continues and the high quality is reflected in an impressive list of awards since 1998.

The production is very small from the half acre of vines, 50 cases in 2003 rising to an expected 200 cases in 2010 with no plans to expand further. This will ensure the continued high quality and attention to detail.

The vineyard is unusual in that five different clones of Shiraz are planted, and Barrgowan Vineyard believe that each clone adds just a little extra complexity to the finished wine.

Barrgowan Vineyard hand prune the vines, hand pick the fruit and basket press manually. Diligence, care and gentleness are applied at all stages of the wine making process; for example, most wine transfer is achieved by gravity, not pumped. By scientific measurement during the wine making process, we ensure the absolute minimum use of additives. The overall criterion is quality, not quantity!

The wine matures for over 12 months in the best, ultra fine grained French oak barrels available, and do not blend, filter or fine.
