Anne-Marie Jones qualified as a Massage Therapist in 2004 with the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy and is a member of the Massage Association of Australia. Member number 5946.

My inspiration for learning massage came from being a keen recipient of massage therapy. Whilst receiving treatments, I would often think of how rewarding it must be to have a job where people are always happy to see you & the work environment is peaceful and energising.

Since qualifying, I have mostly contracted to other businesses offering mobile massage in the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges. I continue to work in this beautiful region, and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere of each and every Bed & Breakfast.

However, my main focus now is to offer nurturing, therapeutic massage within my cozy home studio. I am also currently undertaking my Diploma of Remedial Massage for accreditation with health funds, TAC and Workcover.

Domaine Chandon was established by French Champagne house Moet & Chandon in 1986 and is dedicated to the production of méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine and cool climate still wines. Only one hour from the centre of Melbourne, the Green Point Room visitor centre at Domaine Chandon offers spectacular views across the vineyard and valley to the mountains. A pioneering vineyard of the Yarra Valley's modern wine story, Seville Estate has a picturesque location among rolling hills and pastures. Sarah Crowe, named James Halliday’s 2017 Winemaker of the Year, focuses on giving individual blocks and varieties the time and attention they deserve to continue making high-quality wine.

Yarra Yering was established in 1969 at the foot of the Warramate Hills in Victoria's Yarra Valley by Doctor Bailey Carrodus. The cellar door is open for wine tasting seven days a week at this, one of the best, oldest and most beautiful Yarra Valley vineyards. Vineyard management places the emphasis on sustainability, hand picking, hand pruning and cropping at low levels to produce intensely flavoured fruit with great colour and high levels of natural acidity. The original 30 acre vineyard has gradually been expanded to just on 70 acres of vines with a broad range of varieties from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir through to Cabernet and Shiraz to Portuguese varieties planted on terraces at the top of the vineyard.

The wines are made in the Carrodus designed winery with purpose built equipment. Small batch fermentation in half tonne stainless steel fermenters, maturation in a mixture of new and old French oak barriques produces wines of great intensity and finesse. Elegant, supple and strongly varietal, the wines are approachable while young, but will reward cellaring under the suitable conditions reaching their peak of complexity and sophistication after 15 to 20 years in the bottle.

Punt Road Wines and Napoleon & Co Cider is located in the Yarra Valley although the winery is named after a major thoroughfare in the middle of Melbourne. Considered one of the busiest roads in Melbourne, within walking distance from the Melbourne Cricket Ground and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Punt Road Wines began in the 1850's as a quiet dirt road that ran into Yarra River. The road was surrounded by some of the first vineyards in Victoria, and was linked across the river by a punt, which would ferry people and goods to the other side. A bridge now stands where the punt once was, and the vineyards have been re-established throughout the Yarra Valley, where the grapes for this wine are grown today. Rayner's Stonefruit Orchard currently grow over 300 varieties of fruit and is less than one hours drive from the city centre, located in Melbourne's food bowl, the Yarra Valley. A visit to Warratina Lavender Farm is a truly unique experience. Dominique Portet was established in 2000. 'The Portet family has been making wine for 10 generations, since the early 17th century. Seville Hill is a picturesque hilltop vineyard in the southern part of the Yarra Valley, just off the road to Warburton. Mature camellias add colour to the well-tended vineyard surrounds, and large elms provide shade for those who visit to enjoy the music. Payne's Rise wines are now establishing themselves as a premium Yarra Valley producer. Current release wines have won many awards in various cool climate wine shows around the country. Originally established in 1862, St Huberts Vineyard is one of the fabled properties that made Yarra Valley wines famous in the 1800s. Replanted in the 1960s, it's again at the heart of the region's wine story. The welcoming cellar door at the edge of the vineyard has interesting photographs of the estate in its 19th century heyday to reflect on. The labels on the bottles resemble the old originals, but the wines are modern styles and very good across a range of types. There are also rare specials like Roussanne to explore.' The modern St Huberts Vineyard estate is the reincarnation of one of Victoria's most famous and historic vineyard properties. 120 years ago St Huberts Vineyard's wines were the toast of the colony, winning awards internationally, as well as mightily pleasing the grandees back home. Today's St Huberts Vineyard was one of the properties that launched the Yarra Valley's second golden age in the 1960s, and the wines continue to be good examples of regional styles. The original brainchild of four local friends, Coldstream Brewery opened its doors to beer lovers and diners in June 2007. The restaurant and bar are housed in a charming old brick building in the heart of Coldstream, the gateway to the beautiful Yarra Valley. The micro brewery has being set up in a purpose-built extension of the restaurant, with large windows through which you can see the Coldstream beers being brewed in small batches by their Brewer Alan Harding. For a small charge, you can try a tasting of the full range of draught products that includes a delicious handcrafted cider. Wine and Cider maker Phil Kelly makes this premium cider from the juice of local apples extracted on a traditional rack and cloth cider press. The restaurant features a menu of share plates, mains and pizzas along with daily blackboard specials. Mont De Lancey Historic Homestead Museum is located in the rolling hills of Wandin in the Yarra Valley. It was built by Henry Sebire, a stonemason, in the 1880's, with handmade bricks produced on site, and has been lovingly restored and furnished by the Wandin community. The old Homestead, Saint Mary's Chapel and the surrounds, are maintained and managed by volunteers. A Working forge, Wood-turners workroom, Yarra Valley Vintage Machinery Preservation Society are on the property. A Country Market is held the second Saturday of the month except June, July and August.
