The Lobethal Archives and Historical Museum is a German Pioneer Museum with displays and exhibits telling the story of both the German and English history of South Australia. Items on display include colonial artefacts from everyday life of the time including examples of needlecrafts and woodwork and numerous pictures of local industries and agriculture. The original Lutheran Church with the elevated pulpit and the unique blue and white wood work is part of the historic church precinct which includes the Lutheran School, the new Church Complex and remnants of the Old Lutheran Cemetery. Donations are collected at the door.

Find handwoven textiles and tapestries produced on eight large looms are found at The Oakbank Weaver in the old cellars of Pike's historic Brewery. The weavers, Peter Stapleton and Mary Cassini, create their own patterns, which are fascinating to see emerging on the looms. The finished tapestries and textiles ranging from throw rugs to suit fabrics, upholstery, stoles and scarves can be purchased in the gallery located under the 1889 stone brew tower. Commissions are welcomed. The building is listed as a fine industrial example of Victorian architecture on the State Heritage Register. Entry is free for individuals. Groups are welcomed by prior arrangement.

The clubhouse has bar facilities and offers group catering. The course is ideal for the recreational golfer: it is a comfortable 30 minute drive from Adelaide, is easily traversed, has no bunkers and is irrigated throughout the summer. There are nine holes and the men's par is 68, with a course length of 5315 metres; for women, the par is 72 and the course length, 5176 metres. Please note a dress code applies.

Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard is 20 kilometres due east of Adelaide city as the crow flies. Vineyard establishment commenced in 1992 and is owned, developed and operated by Alan Herath and Jan Reed. The small Vineyard is hand nurtured, picked and pruned with wine complexity and style starting in the vineyard based on a wide variety of selected grape types, soils and slopes.

Disabled car parking is available three metres from the cellar door and there are no steps from the car park to cellar door. Closed June and July, except by appointment.

Melba's Chocolate Factory is a 'working' tourism factory located in a heritage listed complex 40 minutes from Adelaide at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills. From 1919 the South Australian Farmers' Cooperative Union made the site famous by producing cheese, butter, margarine and small goods, which were recognised worldwide. This activity ceased in 1976. From 1991, with 1940's era chocolate and confectionery making equipment, the current owners began their dream making old Australian favourite chocolate and confectionery. Visitors today find the old cheese factory transformed into a large emporium-style confectionery factory shop. This is a centrepiece for five different rooms, where various manufacturing processes can be viewed. These are the Chocolate Room, Depositing Room, Packing Room, Panning Room and Toffee Room. Visitors are encouraged to speak to the staff who have mastered the use of the heritage equipment, making old fashioned favourites in the time honoured tradition. An additional interesting feature is the collection of antique and quaint memorabilia from times past, which can be found on display around the factory walls.
