Anne-Marie Jones qualified as a Massage Therapist in 2004 with the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy and is a member of the Massage Association of Australia. Member number 5946.
My inspiration for learning massage came from being a keen recipient of massage therapy. Whilst receiving treatments, I would often think of how rewarding it must be to have a job where people are always happy to see you & the work environment is peaceful and energising.
Since qualifying, I have mostly contracted to other businesses offering mobile massage in the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges. I continue to work in this beautiful region, and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere of each and every Bed & Breakfast.
However, my main focus now is to offer nurturing, therapeutic massage within my cozy home studio. I am also currently undertaking my Diploma of Remedial Massage for accreditation with health funds, TAC and Workcover.

Situated in a ferny glade in the Dandenongs, William Ricketts Sanctuary is a place of beauty and tranquillity, due both to the natural setting and the mystical sculptures half hidden among ferns along the pathways. It is a place for quiet reflection and for contemplation of the essence of the vision of William Ricketts. Many travel across the world to visit this place time and time again. Things to do - Kiln-fired clay sculptures of Aboriginal figures are discreetly set among rocks, fern trees and Mountain Ash. These sculptures are an expression of Rickett's philosophy - that all people need to act as custodians of the natural environment in the same way as Aborigines, the inspiration for much of his work. - Stroll through the gardens and explore the 92 ceramic sculptures of people and animals which merge with the natural surroundings. - Enjoy the audio-visual display featuring William Ricketts where visitors can see for themselves the vision and passion that live in his art. Heritage In the 1930s William Rickets bought a four-acre bush block on Mount Dandenong and called it Potter's Sanctuary. Word spread about the extraordinary sculptures that began to adorn the property. In time, the Victorian Government heard about his work and, in the early 1960s, the land and adjoining blocks were bought for the people. William Ricketts lived on at the Sanctuary into his nineties and continued to create his sculptures until his death in 1993. Before you go Conditions can change in parks for many reasons. A pioneering vineyard of the Yarra Valley's modern wine story, Seville Estate has a picturesque location among rolling hills and pastures. Mature gums and old orchards share this southern part of the valley with grape vines, and the feel is less fussed than the vineyard country further north. New owners maintain the estate's quality tradition, the cellar door is as friendly and relaxed as ever, the old label design is back, and young Dylan McMahon, grandson of founder Dr Peter McMahon, is an accomplished winemaker. Seville Estate continues in good hands.' Ralph Kyte-Powell When Dr Peter Mc Mahon planted the first vines at Seville Estate in 1972, it marked the rebirth of the Yarra Valley as a premium wine region. By the end of the decade Dr McMahon and his wife Margaret, along with producers such as Mount Mary, Yeringberg, Yarra Yering, St Huberts and the like were fashioning wines that served to re-establish the lofty reputation the Yarra Valley had enjoyed in the 19th century. From its first vintage, Seville Estate quickly established itself as one of the Yarra Valley's finest producers. Surprisingly in a region more renowned for its red wines produced from Cabernet and Pinot Noir, it was the Seville Estate Shiraz that received the most attention, quickly becoming one of Victoria's most sought after wines. These wines that have been called "one of Victoria's best kept secrets" are now some of the most stylish on the market, with back vintage tastings showing their superb ageing capacity. Today 35 years after Peter and Margaret started the dream; Seville Estate enters its third phase with new owner Graham and Margaret Van Der Meulen. They are fully hands-on in the vineyard, winery, and cellar door and plan to continue Seville's long-established record of producing consistently high quality wines.

Frequently named among the top Yarra Valley wineries, Yarra Yering’s proud tradition is being continued to great acclaim by current winemaker Sarah Crowe.
Sarah Crowe, named James Halliday’s 2017 Winemaker of the Year, focuses on giving individual blocks and varieties the time and attention they deserve to continue making high-quality wine.
Yarra Yering was established in 1969 at the foot of the Warramate Hills in Victoria's Yarra Valley by Doctor Bailey Carrodus. The cellar door is open for wine tasting seven days a week at this, one of the best, oldest and most beautiful Yarra Valley vineyards. Vineyard management places the emphasis on sustainability, hand picking, hand pruning and cropping at low levels to produce intensely flavoured fruit with great colour and high levels of natural acidity. The original 30 acre vineyard has gradually been expanded to just on 70 acres of vines with a broad range of varieties from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir through to Cabernet and Shiraz to Portuguese varieties planted on terraces at the top of the vineyard.
The wines are made in the Carrodus designed winery with purpose built equipment. Small batch fermentation in half tonne stainless steel fermenters, maturation in a mixture of new and old French oak barriques produces wines of great intensity and finesse. Elegant, supple and strongly varietal, the wines are approachable while young, but will reward cellaring under the suitable conditions reaching their peak of complexity and sophistication after 15 to 20 years in the bottle.
Punt Road Wines and Napoleon & Co Cider is located in the Yarra Valley although the winery is named after a major thoroughfare in the middle of Melbourne. Considered one of the busiest roads in Melbourne, within walking distance from the Melbourne Cricket Ground and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Punt Road Wines began in the 1850's as a quiet dirt road that ran into Yarra River. The road was surrounded by some of the first vineyards in Victoria, and was linked across the river by a punt, which would ferry people and goods to the other side. A bridge now stands where the punt once was, and the vineyards have been re-established throughout the Yarra Valley, where the grapes for this wine are grown today. The Punt Road Wines range consists of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Late Harvest Semillon. When vintage conditions permit, exclusive parcels will be labelled under the Punt Road MVN reserve label. In 2008, Punt Road Wines launched the Napoleone & Co. Cider range. Made from estate grown fruit, they produce both an apple and pear Cider as well as a sparkling Methode Traditionelle Pear Cider. 'Punt Road's name comes from Punt Road in the Melbourne suburb of South Yarra, the site of thriving vineyards 150 years ago. This beautifully tended modern vineyard is in prime Yarra Valley heartland, sharing its location with an apple orchard and a smart, comfortable cellar door. Punt Road wines are very good and well priced for their quality.' Ralph Kyte-Powell.

Dominique Portet was established in 2000. 'The Portet family has been making wine for 10 generations, since the early 17th century. Now affable Frenchman Dominique Portet, a household name in Victorian wine circles, and son Ben, are continuing the tradition at this charming winery in the heart of the Yarra Valley. The cellar door has a French country feel, and the Winemaker's café serves light foods from the winemaker's table (perfect with a cool glass of the estate's Fontaine Rosé). Seville Hill is a picturesque hilltop vineyard in the southern part of the Yarra Valley, just off the road to Warburton. Mature camellias add colour to the well-tended vineyard surrounds, and large elms provide shade for those who visit to enjoy the music. A family member is a jazz muso and a top notch band features here during warmer weather. The wines are very good, and they sometimes successfully explore unorthodox territory for the Yarra Valley - try the Sparkling, Tempranillo or Vintage Port to see what I mean.' RALPH KYTE-POWELL The involvement of John and Josie D'Aloisio in the agricultural industry began over 30 years ago culminating with the establishment of Seville Hill Vineyard and Winery in 1991. Located in the picturesque country town of Seville in the heart of the Yarra Valley, John and Josie have produced quality fruit from 43 acres of deep rich volcanic soil since 1985 which has been the foundation and has led to the development of Seville Hill Wines. Since its founding in 1978, Oakridge Wines has been making wine in the Yarra Valley and has evolved as an outstanding winery. Bordered by the mountains of the Great Dividing Range and stretching across 10 hectares of landscaped vines and gardens along Maroondah Highway, the family-owned estate is dedicated to producing outstanding and distinctive wines while providing visitors with a truly memorable wine and food experience. Oakridge Wines are characterised by their restraint and finesse and demonstrate true regional and varietal expression. This is achieved by carefully sourcing fruit for each varietal from the most suitable sub-region in the Yarra Valley. Meticulous viticulture, modern winemaking technology and traditional techniques have resulted in well-balanced wines showing intense varietal flavours. The new architechturally designed restaurant (opened October 2013) gives way to the most stunning views the estate has to offer, and is an important part of the Oakridge experience. With every turn of the season, Chef Jose Chavez adapts the menu by creating a selection of dishes guaranteed to excite your palate with cuisine relating to the surrounding produce and flavours of the Valley. Open for wine tasting & lunch daily from 10am, and Sunday breakfast from 8am. The perfect venue for celebratory drinks, birthday functions or to celebrate your special day. 'Oakridge was established over 30 years ago, and now it provides some of the best of all Yarra wines. Subtlety, complexity and refinement are hallmarks of the label, but great wine is only one of Oakridge's attractions. The smart, contemporary restaurant serves seasonal produce with fl air and imagination, while the soothing vistas of lake, hills, valley and vineyard from here are food for the soul. A must-see and must-taste destination for all visitors to the Yarra.' Review by Ralph Kyte-Powell.
