King River Estate was established in 1990 after Trevor Knaggs and his Father Colin planted vines on the Estate. Traditional French varieties were planted first but now there are also alternative varieties. The varities are; Pinot Gris, Vermentino, Viognier, Chardonnay, Merlot, Shiraz, Sangiovese, Barbera, Sagantino, Lagrein, Saperavi.

The vineyard is run using Biodynamic practices which makes the estate sustainable and preserves the land for future generations.

The winery uses minimal intervention in the winemaking process which uses wild yeast (natural ferments) allowing the wine to show its true personality.

The winery, cellar door and fully self contained guesthouse (which sleeps nine) is located directly across the road from the beautiful crystal clear flowing water of the King River where you can catch fresh fish, such as Cod and Trout, when in season.

Pizzini Wines specialise in the production of Italian varietal wines. Located in Victoria's north east and the King Valley wine region, Pizzini have been producing wine under their own label since 1994. Alfred and wife Katrina along with their four children believe strongly in their Italian heritage and ensure that all aspects of their business focus on their three loves or Tre Armore; wine, food, family and friends. Pizzini specialises in the production of Italian varietal wines including Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Verduzzo and Arneis, Prosecco and Brachetto. Pizzini also produce a selection of traditional French styles including, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Merlot and Shiraz. Pizzini's cellar door is open seven days offering a warm family atmosphere where you can bring friends and family to enjoy wine tasting in true Pizzini style. The cellar door is closed Christmas day. Katrina Pizzini runs a cooking school at the winery where novices can learn age old techniques of making gnocchi and pasta.
