Fitzroy Falls offers a spectacular national park experience. Annual events are organised in Spring and Autumn, and the Fettlers Shed Gallery hosts exhibitions. Keep an eye out for these. The station has a museum, gallery, picnic pavilions, Perway/Gang Shed, reconciliation carved poles, and Flugelman sculpture in landscaped gardens. The former workman's shed used by railway fettlers has been transformed into a multi-purpose building and art gallery. The Fettlers' Shed Gallery has hosted many art and craft exhibitions. Shows by local artists and craftspeople are open on weekends, so that passengers and visitors can enjoy the excellent art displays on offer. The Gallery is open during displays on weekends and is located at the end of Yarranga Street Robertson.

Robertson Yurt/Roundhouse is unique, rustic and natural. A large, 8.4 metre (with two annexes) Western Red Cedar, Yurt/Roundhouse which is a permanent home built by Yurtworks. There is one queen bed in the bedroom, and two single fold out beds available for the lounge room. There is a wood heater to warm the Yurt, and for you to stare into and be warmed. Relax inside whilst watching the natural world outside the north facing windows or sit on an old church pew on the front veranda annex, or on the veranda of the sunroom annex and enjoy the ambience of this very unique Yurt in a mystical environment. Look up to the beautiful timber ceiling and watch as day turns into night through the many glass windows in the cupola. It is one of many waterfalls in Morton National Park. Nearby Belmore Falls is equally dramatic and easy to access. In 1882, 4,000 acres were set aside as a reserve, forming the basis of the vast national park that exists today. There are well cut paths and easy stairways, resting places and signs strategically placed to identify native fauna and flora. Go bush walking along the escarpment - the nearest trail is a 1.6 kilometre round trip to a lookout where you'll see the full glory of the falls....

Once you’ve clapped eyes on this spectacular view, you’ll never forget it. Missingham lookout walking track leads along the western edge of the escarpment and shows off Kangaroo Valley in all its glory, as well as a wide angle view of the spectacular Carrington Falls Gorge. Passing gums and banksia, you might catch the scent of sydney peppermint gum and the finger hakea with its delightful perfume in spring. You might hear the call of the wonga pigeon or eastern whipbird as you meander this easy trail, leading to one of the best views on the south coast. Take a moment to scour the skies for the vibrant king parrot and yellow tailed black cockatoo, or simply soak in the sounds of the valley below. Head back to either Carrington Falls picnic area or Nellies Glen picnic area for a picnic or if you still want to know more about this precious patch of remaining rainforest, head to Minnamurra Rainforest Centre....

Running from Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre to Warrawong lookout in the northern section of the park, this self-guided wildflower walk is a nature-lover’s dream. Offering a delightful excursion through diverse native plants and trees, the East Rim and Wildflower walking tracks are both scenic and informative. Spot the colourful flowers as you roam the track past a cornucopia of plant communities including dry eucalypt forests, grassy woodlands, heathlands and rainforest areas just bursting with birds. You’ll encounter spectacular lookouts with views over the valley as you go, along with helpful signs pointing out interesting flowers, useful hints and details on changing environment. The first 1.25 kilometre, known as Wildflower walk, is an easy stroll that'll introduce you to the the beautiful scenery of Morton National Park. If you're feeling fit and energised, it's easy to extend the walk by following East Rim walk. You'll find several more lookouts that make this walk a photographers dream in the right light....

Prepare yourself for a journey back in time as you enjoy a leisurely stroll along on this easy walking track. Stroll along the wheelchair-friendly walking track and surround yourself with the dense rainforest that once covered the landscape around Robertson. Looking up at the sheer density of the vines, you can see why the Yarrawa Brush, as it it’s known, was so difficult to penetrate for early explorers. If you’re keen on birdwatching, keep your binoculars handy and you might just spot Lewin's honeyeaters, white-browed scrub hens, crimson rosellas, wonga pigeons or satin bowerbirds. You’re sure to at least hear the distinctive whip crack call of the eastern whipbird. Look out for wombat burrows, and if you look really closely, you might even notice the delicate rainforest snails and other invertebrates picking their way through the ferns and mosses....
