Furniture, household objects, diaries, letters, scrapbooks, photographs and clothes allow a very personal insight into a more private world of the family. It is unusual for a house to be occupied by the same family for such a length of time, even in rural areas. Meroogal has survived to make its contribution to the study of our social history.
