Throughout 14 acres of land, paths meander among one of the most comprehensive collections of privately owned animals and birds in the country.
See all your favourite Australian animals such as wombats and dingoes. Cuddle a koala and walk amongst the kangaroos and wallabies. There are also many rare albino species to be seen. A variety of exotic animals on display such as monkeys, alligators, meerkats, otters and more.
A vast range of birds from Fairy Wrens to Ostriches and everything in between, some in enclosures but many free flying. A reptile house displays snakes, lizards, frogs and fish.

The Lobethal Archives and Historical Museum is a German Pioneer Museum with displays and exhibits telling the story of both the German and English history of South Australia. Items on display include colonial artefacts from everyday life of the time including examples of needlecrafts and woodwork and numerous pictures of local industries and agriculture. The original Lutheran Church with the elevated pulpit and the unique blue and white wood work is part of the historic church precinct which includes the Lutheran School, the new Church Complex and remnants of the Old Lutheran Cemetery. Donations are collected at the door.
Hand made by our hands. This is James and Annabelle Tilbrook's vineyard and winemaking philosophy. Our vineyard, based in the beautiful Lenswood region is unique with French inspired close planted vines and terracing across steep slopes, where they grow Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The old Onkaparinga Woollen Mills, in Lobethal, now provides a home for the combined winery and cellar door. At the cellar door you can see right into the winery, and meet the winemaker, as well as taste the range in the comfort of a sophisticated setting, with a blazing wood fire in winter. During the summer months why not sit outside with a glass of wine and cheese platter or have a coffee? Tilbrook Estate has on offer wonderful cool climate, elegant but flavoursome, award winning Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot, Gris, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Shiraz, Cabernet, and very delightful Pinot Gris Dessert Wine.
Welcome to Mt. Bera, a historical homestead located in the cool climate area of the Adelaide Hills, some 30 kilometres northeast of Adelaide, South Australia. Mt. Bera produces quality Merlot, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, some of which is kept to produce boutique wines along Bordeaux and burgundy styles. The garden and surrounding grounds feature many varieties of mature trees such as cork, chestnut, various apple, walnut, olive, culinary-grade bay tree as well as large oak, Cyprus, and pine, all dating back to the original settlement and the owner's love of the Devonshire countryside in England after which Mt. Bera is named.
The Lobethal Bierhaus is a micro brewery, cellar door and restaurant proudly located in Lobethal's Old Onkaparinga Woollen Mills. All of the brewery's equipment is on display together with detailed descriptions of how its beer is made and the considerable history of brewing in Lobethal, which dates back to 1851. The restaurant serves a full range of excellent dishes designed around local produce in a casual child friendly environment. In addition to its own award winning handcrafted beers (available on both draught and in bottle to take home), a selection of locally made wines, tea, coffee and soft drinks are also available.
Talunga Scaffidi Winery is a beautiful place to bring your interstate and overseas family and friends for an experience to remember. With a combination of Scaffidi award-winning wines, exquisite gourmet and Italian cuisine and breathtaking views and pine forests it's easy to imagine you are in Tuscany. The winery owners, Vince and Tina Scaffidi are proud of their selection of award-winning wines whites and reds sourced from their Adelaide Hills Vineyard and One Tree Hill Vineyard. Bring the children to see the world's biggest rocking horse. You can climb to the top of The Big Rocking Horse, which stands at 18 metres high. Then visit the seven-acre animal park where, among other things, wallabies can be hand-fed. Relax and enjoy a meal or coffee in the licensed, child-friendly cafe, outdoor patio or shaded picnic area. Wander through the Toy Factory to see Australia's largest range of quality wooden toys. A huge range of imported, educational wooden toys are available, as well as an impressive supply of souvenirs. The Big Rocking Horse and Toy Factory is in Gumeracha in the leafy Adelaide Hills, just 45 minutes from Adelaide's city centre.
Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard is 20 kilometres due east of Adelaide city as the crow flies. Take a 30 minute drive from Adelaide through the picturesque Adelaide Hills and enjoy delightful views over a northerly facing panorama of rolling vines, apples and cherry orchards disappearing into Eucalyptus bushland, while you taste our Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc wines.
Vineyard establishment commenced in 1992 and is owned, developed and operated by Alan Herath and Jan Reed. The small Vineyard is hand nurtured, picked and pruned with wine complexity and style starting in the vineyard based on a wide variety of selected grape types, soils and slopes.
Disabled car parking is available three metres from the cellar door and there are no steps from the car park to cellar door. Closed June and July, except by appointment.
