Welcome to the Australian Kayaking Adventures website. We pride ourselves in making our adventures the safest and most fun you can have with a paddle. Located on the beautiful Gold Coast, our adventures are conducted on the pristine waters of the Broadwater, where we regularly see all kinds of Marine life (eg Dolphins, Turtles, Stingrays) and thousands of sub tropical fish.

Marvel at the scenery from the secluded islands and enjoy a delicious continental breakfast on the beach, and don’t forget to try our very popular homemade muffins.

Our tours are conducted on the beautiful Broadwater on the Gold Coast. The water where we conduct our tours are protected by surrounding islands, with mild sub-tropical temperatures and around 10 to 15 metres visibility. Winter water temperature is approximately 19 degrees and Summer water temperature is approximately 26 degrees. We provide wetsuits during winter for your added comfort.

You will see abundant wildlife from Turtles, Dolphins, Stingrays, and colourful sub-tropical fish to Whales in the migration months of May-Nov.

Here at The Shooting Centre we offer you the unique opportunity to fire REAL hand guns using REAL ammunition.

You are able to fire handguns now banned from private ownership. The MIGHTY 44 MAGNUM or the .45 NORINCO.

Here is your chance to dispel the myths about firearms.
Leave here after your shooting experience with first hand knowledge of just what pistol shooting REALLY is.

We have seating for 50 people and a glass viewing area. Drop in for a look and make yourself a coffee, kick back and relax awhile.

The Gold Coast Seaway offers diving for the beginner to advanced. There are two pipes that protrude from the Southern Seaway wall.

This dive site is divided into 4 main areas: South Wall (including the Sand Bypass Pipe and the Short Pipe) - great marine biodiversity; North Wall - schools of pelagic fish, wobbegong and whaler sharks; South-West Wall - beach entry and home to little critters. Wave Break Island - excellent for snorkelling, intro and learn to dive.

OzBall Gold Coast is an Outdoor Adventure Activity. Jump into a 3.5 metre high clear plastic inflated ball and hurtle down a hill by yourself or with friends, they told you it was simple! Zorbing is safe and fun for everyone from crazy kids to gentle Grannies. You are surrounded by a massive cushion of air and roll down their purpose built hill where even the biggest chicken can become a Zorbonaut.
Hydro Zorbing is the most popular ride and perfect for families where one to three riders are sliding loose in the bottom of the Ball with 40 litres of water.
Harness Zorbing! On the Dry Harness Ride, climb in, get harnessed and hang on for some fun as you rotate with the ball all the way down their 140 metre hill. The harness ride is only for one person at a time. Minimum height requirement is 153 centimetres and maximum weight is 100 kilograms.

The hull of The Scottish Prince lies in 10 metres of water near the Southport Spit providing a fascinating wreck dive on the Gold Coast. In 1887, "The Scottish Prince", a 3 steel-masted iron barque 64 metres long, sank as she was sailing from Glasgow, Scotland to Brisbane with a cargo of whiskey, mousetraps, linen and other assorted cargo. Only the hull remains and is covered with soft corals and sponges, and is a haven for crayfish, Shovelnose rays, Leopard and wobbegong sharks, and other tropical fish. The wreck is protected under the Commonwealth Historic Shipwreck Act.

Learn to fly with Trix Circus! Fantastic fun for all the family. Make your next holiday an adventure that you will never forget. Coombabah Lakes Conservation Area is ideal for short walks, bird watching, animal spotting and plant identification and gives you an opportunity to appreciate an ecologically significant area. Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area protects more than 1,200 hectares of wetland, Eucalypt forest, salt marsh and mangrove swamp habitat. Lake Coombabah and its estuarine system are important coastal wetlands and migratory water bird habitats. There are some great walking trails at Coombabah Lakelands.

Combine thrill with skill at V8 Supercars Redline and FlowRider before venturing onto one of the parks favourites, the River Rapids, Log Ride, Vintage Cars or Dreamworld Railway. There are days of fun to be enjoyed at Dreamworld.

Paradise Point Parklands are the perfect location for a stroll, picnic, fun in the playground or to simply relax overlooking the water. The amazing views make this one of the most beautiful parks on the Gold Coast. The winding walkway through the Parklands provides a great way to start exploring the many features on offer. The Parklands have recently been upgraded with new public amenities, barbecue facilities and picnic shelters. Pack a picnic, throw a snag on the barbie, or if you really want to relax, there are many coffee shops or fish and chip stores located right along the Esplanade. The kids will be entertained for hours with the large playground area. The playground features and activities are very unique, and are sure to keep the kids enthralled. Climbing, slides, swings, all the traditional favourites, as well as many new activities and play spaces. There are also open grassed areas, perfect for a game of cricket with the kids, or a kick of the footy. The park benches overlooking the beautiful Broadwater provide a majestic view, and a romantic spot to enjoy with your loved one.

Pine Ridge Conservation Park protects one of the last remaining wallum banksia stands on the Gold Coast. In this small, virtually untouched park is culturally important to the Kombumerri-Ngarangwal people. Escape the city's hustle and bustle on a stroll or cycle along bitumen boundary tracks; or walk the sandy, centre track. See the park's varied plant-life, including tall bloodwood trees, heath and paperbark swamps. Enjoy the flush of wildflowers in late winter and spring, especially after good autumn rains. Remember the binoculars for watching wildlife. Camping is not allowed in the park, but a picnic area is available for those wanting to enjoy a whole day out.
