Platform 1 Heritage Farm Railway at Littlehampton features a train ride, farm animals and railway memorabilia, just 10 minutes from Hahndorf. Woodside Cheese Wrights have produced a range of high quality and award-winning cheeses at their Adelaide Hills facility since 1994. Their sophisticated range of cow and goat milk cheeses are made by directly sourcing milk from small local dairies, providing them with excellent control of milk quality. A very small winery in the European mould established in 1982. The fine elegant wines, plus bigger bodied wines made for the second label, Galah, are available for tasting at the friendly and bucolic cellar door where the winemaker is often in attendance. Ashton Hills Vineyard lies just below the summit of Mount Lofty on a ridge top overlooking the Piccadilly Valley. The wines reflect the regions cool and humid climate and have fine flavours with a lingering finish. The cellar door opened in 1991. Specialising in dry white and red table wines and sparkling wines. Grapes grown include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling.

Gulf Brewery is a microbrewery producing hand crafted boutique beers. You can taste beers at the cellar door and either relax and have a beer by the glass or take away to drink at your leisure. The cellar door is located between the IGA and Otto's bakery on the main street of historic Hahndorf in the picturesque Adelaide Hills Gulf Brewery have a wide range of beers available, so they can guarantee there will be a beer to suit your palette from a crisp refreshing lager to smooth dark chocolate stout. They also have one off specialty beers on tap throughout the year. If you are not sure what beers you would like, why not try a tasting paddle of six? Manyara Vineyard is a small family vineyard located in Balhannah in the Adelaide Hills where the extended Lipman family concentrate on growing grapes of the highest quality. The vines are lovingly tended and carefully managed through hand pruning, shoot and bunch thinning to produce premium wines with distinctive fruit character. Wines available include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and the Manyara red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The 2011 Pinot Noir will be available early in 2012.

Barratt Wines, acclaimed for its award-winning specialty Pinot Noir, is a family-owned and operated winery located in the Piccadilly Valley; a premium grape-growing region of South Australia's Adelaide Hills. It sources grapes from two small vineyards (Uley and Bonython), to produce quality wines handcrafted to exacting standards. Adelaide Hills is very typically cool climate: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot are the varieties to flourish in this subregion.

The Prancing Pony Brewery is a boutique craft brewery with a unique point of difference; 'We Fire Brew' Based in Mount Barker in the Adelaide Hills, we create beautifully crafted beers with amazing malt and hop flavours. Find handwoven textiles and tapestries produced on eight large looms are found at The Oakbank Weaver in the old cellars of Pike's historic Brewery. The weavers, Peter Stapleton and Mary Cassini, create their own patterns, which are fascinating to see emerging on the looms. The finished tapestries and textiles ranging from throw rugs to suit fabrics, upholstery, stoles and scarves can be purchased in the gallery located under the 1889 stone brew tower. Commissions are welcomed. The building is listed as a fine industrial example of Victorian architecture on the State Heritage Register. Entry is free for individuals. Groups are welcomed by prior arrangement.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy this beautifully presented nine-hole golf course located just off the main Onkaparinga Road at Oakbank in the Adelaide Hills. Our club has a membership of close to 270 and we provide a program of organised competitions and social functions. Casual players can hire all the necessary equipment if required. The clubhouse has bar facilities and offers group catering. The course is ideal for the recreational golfer: it is a comfortable 30 minute drive from Adelaide, is easily traversed, has no bunkers and is irrigated throughout the summer. The winery, built for the 2000 vintage is a contemporary design and houses Shaw and Smith's production, marketing and administration. You are encouraged to purchase a tasting flight of four different wines from the Shaw and Smith range complemented by a specially chosen cheese plate at a cost of AUD15.00 per person. Each tasting flight comes with its own tasting mat allowing you to learn the secrets of the wine while you sip away on the terrace or in the cooler months, on the lounge by the fire. Wines are also available by the glass from AUD6.00 or by the bottle.

Hahndorf Hill Winery specialises in exciting new-wave wines, including Gruner Veltliner and Blaufrankish. You can enjoy the walk at any time, which may take up to an hour to complete. Founded in 1840 by James Johnston of Campbelltown, Scotland, Oakbank was named after an area near Glasgow. James and his brother established their Oakbank Brewery in 1843. The original building is on the bank of the Onkaparinga River and you can buy wines and soft drinks there. See the Oakbank Racecourse, established in 1874 where thousands of people still come each year for the Easter Racing Carnival and Pike's historic Brewery founded by Henry Pike in 1886, see the heritage-listed brew tower and workshops now home to the Oakbank Weaver.
