Luddenham Raceway is Sydney's newest go-kart centre featuring a 600 metre pro-circuit and a 200 metre track for junior racers aged 8 to 14. Along with state of the art timing systems, track safety and lighting systems and special designed go-karts imported from Germany, drivers will enjoy the elevations, stunning views and electric atmosphere at Luddenham Raceway. A high-tech visitor centre has also been built on site, which includes a cafe and lounge area where family, friends and colleagues can watch each other race on large screens. The visitor centre also has a large function room which is available to hire for parties and conferences. There are also plans to construct a 1400 metre track for driver training and other motor sports activities, and a paintball park. Stay tuned!

Model Park is owned and operated by the Sydney Society of Model Engineers Ltd, Australia's largest and oldest model engineering organisation. The Model Park is set on 25 acres of land and has a circular model car track, a boat pond for radio controlled boats and yachts, a miniature train ride track, and an area to fly radio controlled planes. Inside are model trains and a slot car track. Members of the public are welcome to watch society members drive, sail and fly, but participation is for members only. Steam train rides are available to the public along the two kilometre track for a small charge. Barbecues and picnic areas are available on site for you to use on open days. Quiet dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a lead at all times.

The Rock Lookout area of Blue Mountains National Park is situated within the historic Mulgoa Valley, only minutes from the bustling city of Penrith. A longer track of 2.5 kilometres leads from the car park through swampy heath and Eucalyptus forest to Riley's Mountain where more views of the Nepean Gorge and surrounds can be enjoyed by the keen walker or photographer. Access throughout this section of Blue Mountains National Park is by foot (over uneven ground) from the car park at the end of Fairlight Road, Mulgoa. Please note: the last section of Fairlight Road is dirt/gravel road.

This deep waterhole forms part of a gorge on the Nepean River between Camden and Penrith, and is a popular spot for people escaping Sydney. Enjoy water-based activities such as swimming, fishing and canoeing. There are fireplaces, barbecues and accessible toilet facilities; there is bushwalking through Gulguer Nature Reserve to Caley's Lookout. Car based and caravan camping is available in the camping area (bookings essential, fees apply). Wood fired fireplaces and fire-rings for campfires are provided. Bring your own firewood, or purchase at campground. It is an offence to take firewood from the bush. Campers under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Facilities for hire include a campground shelter and kitchen, picnic areas and hall with commercial kitchen.

Warragamba Dam is the largest concrete dam in Australia and one of the largest domestic water supply dams in the world. Lake Burragorang, which is formed behind Warragamba Dam, is around four times the size of Sydney Harbour. To build the dam, three million tonnes of concrete were placed across the Warragamba River in a series of large, interlocking blocks. The dam grounds reopened to the public in 2009 after a 10-year closure for major dam upgrades.
