Originally located in the Broadway on Nepean highway, Rosebud cinema moved to its current address in 1977. It was then an independent cinema owned by Lloyd and Marie Whitaker and managed by Peter Hansen. It opened at this site on December 21st 1977 with a single screen. In 1983 a second screen was added and in 1994 a third screen was completed which permitted the complex to screen up to 24 sessions a day.

On the 20th November 1997 Rosebud cinema opened for trade after being transformed into a six-screen complex. It was then owned by a partnership between Lloyd and Marie Whitaker and Robert and Mem Kirby.

We have a large range of amusement machines including pool table/s, air hockey, driving games and pin ball machines. All our video/amusement machines are changed regularly for new and exciting machines.

Rosebud Plaza is situated in Rosebud on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, approximately 75 kilometres south of the Melbourne Central Business District. Formally Port Phillip Plaza, the centre was renamed in 2006 to coincide with the opening of the centre's major expansion project.

The centre was first developed in 1986 and is now the only shopping centre on the Mornington Peninsula to offer the convenience of Kmart. Target, Coles and Safeway as well as over 55 retail stores.

Rosebud Plaza's stores include Brown Sugar, Jay Jay's, Noni B, Sussan, Sportsco, Sanity, Adairs, Suzanne Grae, Miller's Fashion Club, Hosking's Jewellers, Amcal Pharmacy, Wendy's, Diva, Specsavers, The Reject Shop, Payless Shoes, Baker's Delight and Red Rooster amongst others.

Rosebud Country Club has been part of the Peninsula since 1962. Boasting 36 holes of quality golf, three bowling greens, and modern clubhouse, with an excellent restaurant, bars and function areas. Rosebud Country Club is not just a game of golf, it's a day out. Situated on Boneo Road, only 100 metres left off the Mornington Peninsula freeway, access is easy. Ace-Hi is situated on the Mornington Peninsula at Cape Schanck only minutes from Rosebud and just over an hours drive from Melbourne. Since its opening Ace-Hi Ranch has always portrayed a western theme, establishing themselves as a truly unique and exciting adventure theme park. Ace-Hi Ranch caters for all type of horse riders from beginner's right through to experienced riders. Riding is available to all people from seven years old. The following rides are available: Scenic Trail Rides offers two variations. The first ride is a walk only and the second extended ride includes some limited opportunity to rise to the trot and canter. Forest Rides is exhilarating for those more experienced and able to rise to the trot and canter. This ride will take you past the local market gardens before entering the Greens Bush National Park. On the beach you get the opportunity canter along the waters edge, before leaving the beach and heading back to Ace-Hi Ranch. Pony Rides are also available to children six years or under. All rides depart from the jail house and horse riding safety helmets are supplied. Riding instructors are with the child at all times to offer children riding tips and ensure their safety.

Where the view is worth the drive' Rosebud Park Golf Course is part of a Crown Land Reserve, located on the slopes of Arthur's Seat and providing panoramic views of Port Phillip Bay stretching from the city skyline to the Heads. The Enchanted Adventure Garden is an award-winning natural fun park, just one hour from Melbourne at Arthurs Seat. Featuring three hedge mazes, four giant tube slides, 20 themed gardens, an outdoor sculpture park and an indoor three-dimensional maze, this beautiful outdoor adventure park has something for everyone. Tree surfing is new to the park in 2013. The Cups Estate, Olive Grove and Cellar door is situated in the undulating dune region known as 'the cups' on Mornington Peninsula.
