The heart of the Marulan Driver Training Centre is the specially designed and professionally constructed training loop. Incorporating a variety of realistic driving scenarios and situations, including a skid pan area and a 360 metre dirt oval, this training facility can be adapted to suit your needs. Long Point Lookout bestows an inspiring view of the spectacular Shoalhaven gorge which is bisected by the Shoalhaven River. The lookout is located just outside the small village of Tallong, which is seven kilometres east of Marulan and is home to two magnificent lookouts, Badgery's and Long Point. To access Long Point Lookout, head west of Tallong for just over two kilometres back towards Marulan, then turn left onto Long Point Road and follow to the end (approximately five kilometres). A walking trail will take you from the lookout to the Shoalhaven River 500 metres below (90 minute return trip). A variety of bird species and other wildlife can be sighted around Long Point Lookout including Rockwarbler, Bell Miner, White-winged Chough, Peregrine Falcon, and Brown, Yellow-rumped, Buff-rumped and Striated Thornbill.

Fit and active visitors looking for a day’s adventure won’t want to miss Badgerys Spur walking track, a steep and challenging descent through a beautiful eucalyptus forest that skirts the edge of Ettrema Wilderness Area. Given the size of Morton National Park, there’s a good chance you won’t see many other people around, making this a perfect choice for anybody hoping for a bit of solitude in the wild. Make sure you’re well-prepared for your trip, bringing plenty of water and some sturdy shoes. Don’t forget binoculars for a bit of birdwatching along the way. You might even be lucky enough to spot lace monitors and water dragons, too. After twisting down over 1.5 kilometres, the track crosses Dungeon Creek and finishes up on the bank of Shoalhaven River, where you can settle down for a leisurely, well-earned lunch, or pull on the swimmers for a dip in the water if temperatures are warm enough. To extend the walk further, carry a tent into the informal campground by the river and make a night of it. Or consider connecting the walk to other treks in the neighbouring Bungonia National Park and Bungonia State Conservation Area. The possibilities are endless....

Located just north of Goulburn on the Hume Highway, Marulan is the only town situated on the 150 degree meridian which is used as the basis for Australian Eastern Standard Time. The town features a number of historic buildings including two churches, a rectory, historic pub and some fine examples of commercial buildings dating back to the 19th century. The township has a colourful history which involves bushrangers who robbed travellers heading north to Sydney from the southern goldfields. A self-guided tour of the historic township is a good way to learn more about the town's heritage....

Mulwaree Arts Inc. is a group of community like-minded people that are interested in all Arts and Crafts. They are located in the front room of the Marulan Memorial Hall. They carry a wide range of local and hand crafted, knitted and crocheted items, winter woollies, hats, scarves, jumpers, alpaca products, baby goodies, bibs, hand towels, cottage crafts, handmade cards, paintings, jewellery, jams, wood work, local and district history books and lots more!
