With every vintage, we want our Leone and Lou Miranda Estate wines to accurately reflect their variety and region, while ensuring excellent fruit flavours, taste and satisfaction. Our objective is to create a unique wine experience combining traditional family elements and world-class wine making techniques. We hope you enjoy our Primo Amore and Leone range of Barossa premium wines as much as we do. The winery and cellar door of Lou Miranda Estate has all the character of early Mediterranean architecture but was only built in 1999. Beginning with the mushroom shade of the exterior to the fine bluestone detail of the tower. Miranda Restaurant is situated in the beautiful cellar door. The menu reflects the seasons with its modern interpretation of classic Italian cuisine. Olive oil, homemade sweets and tourist information also available.

The Liebich family began winemaking at Rowland Flat in 1919, and in 1992, Ron Liebich a third generation winemaker founded Liebichwein producing a variety of reds and whites, plus a unique range of special fortified wines. Popular bulk blends are available for drinking now or for further keg maturation. Ron and Janet Liebich describe themselves as a friendly family business, and indeed visitors can be sure of seeing the winemaker. Only locally grown grapes are used, grown on the heavy red and black soils of these cool Eastern slopes producing wines of high quality with a distinctive "Barossa fruit' character. Bulk port is sold at the cellar door, bring your own container or buy one. Come and see us, and you will discover that the enjoyment of our wine is a product born from the love making it. Liebichwein is occasionally closed during weekdays, please call to check availability.

Learn more about what goes into making great wines through participating in a walking tour of the Jacob's Creek Visitor Centre display vineyard. Our tour host will provide an overview of the 14 different grapes varieties grown in the vineyard that are featured in some of Australia's most famous wines. A tutored wine tasting will follow, incorporating six wines and basic wine education on the sensory evaluation process.

Tour conducted daily at 3.15pm for general public (weather permitting). Approximate time required is one hour (tours are conducted in Mandarin upon request).

Group tours of 10 or more guests at other times by appointment.

The tours are conducted in a vineyard at the Australian Tourism Award winning Jacob's Creek Visitor Centre. The 36 hectare Jacob's Creek site also features a walking trail along the banks of the famous creek and award winning native gardens. Walking trail brochures are available free of charge from the Centre or can be downloaded from the Jacob's Creek website.
