Hillcrest Tourist Park provides comfortable cabins and camping sites on Tasmania's East Coast at St Helens. Enjoy peaceful bays as well as excellent surf beaches. The park provides two bedroom ensuite cabins, standard ensuite cabins as well as powered and unpowered camp sites. All linen is provided in the cabins. An on-site mini-market stocks groceries, magazines, newspapers, fishing rods and lures as well as alcohol and petrol for in-house guests. There is a fully equipped laundry, amenities block, camp kitchen and family room. Other facilities include a car and boat washing area, public phone and post box as well as a spacious barbecue area. Just a brief walk away is the stunning turquoise water. Try your luck at catching fish from the beach or book a boat charter and take advantage of the excellent diving and fishing opportunities. Plan a bushwalk or enjoy a beach walk at the Bay of Fires. Drive the short distance to St Columba Falls, the highest falls in Tasmania, set in beautiful wilderness. Sit back and enjoy the stunning views of Georges Bay with a glass of Tasmanian wine. St Helens is approximately a two-hour drive east of Launceston (166 kilometres/103 miles).

The Beach House at St Helens provides self-contained accommodation on Tasmania's stunning East Coast. The two bedroom house has queen, double and single beds and can accommodate up to five guests. There is a fully-equipped modern kitchen where you can prepare fresh local seafood. Decor features include wood-panelled walls, polished timber floors, deep sofas and comfortable deck chairs. There is convenient electric heating as well as the cosy warmth of an open fire. A selection of games, movies and music is provided. From the deck there are sweeping views of Georges Bay and the surrounding hills. Take a short stroll along the private track leading down to a secluded beach. Grab a few boogie boards and wetsuits, provided for you, and enjoy the waves. You can also go fishing from the jetty, take a fishing charter in the bay or wander along the coastal tracks. Drive north to the magnificent beaches of the Bay of Fires or inland to Pyengana with its cheese factory, Pub in the Paddock and spectacular St Columba Falls. In the evening, enjoy a barbecue on the spacious deck. St Helens Point is about a two-hour drive (170 km) from Launceston.
