Children aged 16 and under admitted free on this day only provided they bring their Teddy Bear along for the fun! (and are accompanied by an adult paying for admission). At 11am, 12 noon, 2pm and 3pm all Bears are specially invited to join the Bears Only ?Teddy Bear Express? for a short adventure on the Steam Tram. How exciting for your furry friend! There?s a jumping castle for the younger ones, while those aged five to 15 can enjoy the Kid?s Trivia Quiz ? 10 interesting questions to answer as you wander round the Museum. And there's a free pack of ?Gummi Bears? for the children! All the Museum?s regular great exhibits and activities are available, including unlimited rides on the Steam Tram, model rooms, Steam Locos and carriages to explore, hear ?Harry? and ?Charlie? prepare their loco for the day?s work. Santa completes his annual trip from the "North Pole" to the Museum in style! At 11am and 1.30pm on both days, he greets the throng of excited children from the back of the famous 19th century Sydney Steam Tram*. Accompanied by his elves, Santa makes his way to the 1914 Roundhouse to have a personal chat with all the children, dispense free gifts to each one, and be available for photos. Then enjoy all the regular activities at this fascinating Museum, including unlimited rides on the Tram* and the chance to climb on brilliantly restored engines and carriages. Everyone can enjoy a total experience, Santa in the surrounds of steam trains and trams plus a jumping castle*. A kid's quiz will keep the older ones amused, and the cafe is open for cold drinks and ice creams. Don't forget the camera! Note: *subject to operational restrictions....
