The Cellar Door is open on the last Sunday of most months from 12noon to 4pm for our popular Pizza Sundays where we offer handmade pizzas from our wood oven with estate-grown and local, biodynamic and organic produce. Suite 68 is a three bedroom house divided into two self contained units, both with separate entry points, car ports, bathrooms and all other facilities. Each unit has new high quality furnishings. The larger unit has a garden, two bedrooms (one bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds) and there is a sofa bed in the lounge. It has its own bathroom, full cooking facilities, air conditioning, television, DVD player and radio. The front unit consists of open living area with television and DVD player. Bedroom has queen size bed, walk in robe and ensuite and there is a sofa bed in the lounge. Kitchen includes a refrigerator, toaster, kettle and microware. Local calls and entry point for Internet access for your laptop computer are available by arrangement. All linen and towels are provided. Port, tea and coffee available....

Porongurup National Park

The Porongurup National Park near Albany on Western Australia's south coast overflows with local flora and fauna, and offers excellent bushwalking with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding plain. The park is one of the best places in the south for wildflowers - head here in spring and early summer for colourful displays of bluebells, wattles, hoveas, Banksia, dryandras, hakeas, grevilleas and orchids. There are more than 750 species of plants in the park and perhaps the most spectacular are the forests of karri trees. The ancient granite domes that rise 670 metres into the air are popular with rock climbers, while bird watches flock here to see brilliantly coloured scarlet and yellow robins, as well as rufous treecreepers. You might also spot western grey kangaroos and brush wallabies. There are plenty of scenic picnic spots and the park provides barbeque and toilet facilities. You can drive to Porongurup National Park in 40 minutes from Albany, or about four hours from Perth....
