The Australian Centre for Photography (ACP) in partnership with Waverley Council is proud to present Life's a Beach, a special pop-up exhibition of photographs by esteemed British artist and Magnum Photos member Martin Parr.
Life's a Beach takes viewers on a colour-saturated journey to a place loved by all, the seaside, with its general absurdities, traditions, rituals and quirks. Taken over a series of years on far-flung shores, including Argentina, Brazil, China, Italy, Latvia, Japan, the United States and the U.K., Parr's images reveal both what is different and what is the same about people at leisure the world over.
Life's a Beach is a free exhibition organised by Aperture Foundation New York, presented by the Australian Centre for Photography and hosted by Waverley Council at the iconic Bondi Pavilion Gallery....
