The Polish Hill River Church Museum has been established by the South Australian Polish community in order to document and commemorate the contribution of Polish migrants to the development of the state. The Lomandra Walking Trail opened in April 2010 and is a two and a half hour return walk beside the Blyth Golf Course. Hundreds of local provenance plants line the walk, many with descriptive signage. In winter and spring the walk has wide views across the Blyth Plains to the Clare Hills and Hummocks Ranges. Pikes is a family owned winery, established in 1984 by Neil and Andrew Pike. Over the years the business has grown somewhat, but Pikes still has plenty of charm and character. The Pikes label was founded on great Riesling which was again confirmed when the renowned Pikes 'Traditionale' Riesling was awarded the Best Australian Riesling at the 2013 Canberra International Riesling Challenge. However, Pikes also offers a wide range of wine styles to suit all tastes. Our cellar door and winery is located amongst the vineyards on our property at Polish Hill River. The restored stone building, originally a shearing shed, was built by Polish immigrants in the 1800's. Adjacent to the cellar door is a beautifully landscaped area for visitors to sit, relax and enjoy a delicious picnic grazing plate and a glass of wine or a Pikes Beer. The grounds are also available to host weddings, wedding photos and other celebrations. Mitchell Winery

Mitchell Winery is owned by Jane and Andrew Mitchell. They established the winery in 1975 on their property in the western hills of the Clare Valley. A one hundred year old sandstone apple store is set amongst century old gum trees was converted to serve as a rustic cellar door sales area. Continued growth has resulted in further development of the winery buildings and winemaking plant. Currently some 400 to 500 tonnes of premium fruit is crushed and processed in a well equipped modern winery. Inghams Skilly Ridge is located in lush vineyards rising to Skilly Ridge and is surrounded by a natural setting. There is a cosy cellar door area, which is heated in winter and air conditioned in summer. Clark Ingham established his winery in 1994 and quickly established quality vines producing typical Clare Valley luscious fruit. All of the wines have full fruit flavours and careful use of oak in the red wines has allowed the fruit to remain very evident both to the palate and nose. Most of the vintage is exported to Europe and only a small percentage is retained for domestic consumption hence quantities are relatively small.
