Casilda House B & B offers historic waterfront bed and breakfast accommodation in Dunalley south-east of Hobart. It is named after the fishing boat 'Casilda'. The boat is still in excellent condition and is the last remaining traditional sailing boat in Tasmania. Casilda House has been lovingly restored by its current owners with the aim of retaining its original charm. There are two queen size rooms and one twin room, all with ensuites and furnished in keeping with the period of its construction. On those cool Tasmanian evenings, sip a complimentary port or cup of coffee in front of the log fire in the communal lounge room. Enjoy your complimentary cooked breakfast while overlooking the tranquil bay. Kitchen and dining facilities are available for guests to prepare their own evening meal, or take advantage of the nearby restaurant, local fish market or historic Dunalley Hotel. Dunalley is a quiet oyster and Cray fishing village well positioned as a base to explore the Port Arthur Historic Site and surrounding national parks. Pristine surf and swimming beaches are nearby.
