Overlooking the busy corner of Brunswick Street and Johnston St you’ll find the Provincial Bar.  The Public bar is the engine room of the venue, with its distinctive Brunswick St warmth, Operating from midday until 1am everyday, the eclectic designed bar is busy for all of our 7 trading days of the week.  We offer a comprehensive wine menu, which has an extensive list of Australian wines by the glass.

 

Winter gives you a chance to get cosy on the Chesterfield in front of the fireplace, while summer sees the terrace style doors opened wide, allowing a prime seat to watch the vibe that is Brunswick Street.

Our bar and lounge area offer a relaxing atmosphere, with a range of local & imported wines and beers to choose from. It's also the perfect place for pre-dinner drinks, light snack or coffee and cake.

Our Sportsbar can suit to anyone’s needs; you can just relax and have a quiet drink, watch the footy on our large plasma screen or if you fancy a bit of punt try one of our three operating TAB terminals with two electronic betting terminals.

Polly a Melbourne intuition, and one of the city’s oldest cocktail bars still holds her own against the new-comers – winning Time Out Magazine’s People Choice 2016. Today, Polly boasts an expansive range of cocktails on the menu, customers are encouraged to challenge the bar tenders to create new classic or re-invigorate old favourites. In addition, Polly has an ever growing assortment of cigars which customers are welcome to take away or enjoy with one of our more exclusive bottles behind the bar.

The Barley Corn Hotel is Melbourne's premier acoustic and live band venue. Together with Hip-Hop MC's & DJ's it is certainly one of Melbourne's most diverse music venues. The East provides a designated non-smoking dining room, as well as al fresco dining in our beer garden and street front, and of course, the relaxed comfort of our front bar. Black Cat Bar is the soul of Brunswick St, and was one of the first cafes there (depending on who you're asking, it was the first). Now with lots of alcohol and not much food. And it's clean, a turn-up on its past life. The bar is a compact place to enjoy a drink, or to dance in the compact single room with DJ on weekends. It's a great place to socialize with new friends. It's our favourite, and we put our office where we put it to be close to this bar.

Situated in down town Fitzroy, Sentido Funf is a sexy little Garden Lounge Bar with a big secret. Out front you'll find the main bar with a menu to suit the cocktail lover, beer drinker and wine connoisseur alike, accompanied by a laid back, comfortable lounge room. There's also a food menu to delight anyone's taste buds. Delve a little further and you'll discover a hidden oasis - a garden playground for adults. A beautiful tropical garden with crawling vines, hidden walls, swaying palms, and in the midst of all that, the "Green Room" with it's impressive tree growing up through the glass roof. This garden of earthly delights is one space you won't want to miss out on, or leave... Drop in mid-week and share a tasty beverage or three with the friendly staff and management. Try one of the table kegs, or at least ask about them, they are impressive! On the weekend, Sentido Funf is open from 2pm so you can get in early and soak up the sun in the garden. Be ready to let your hair down and "shake your thang" later on a Friday and Saturday, whilst on Sunday, funk trio "Shay's Soul Sessions" provide the ingredients for that perfect Sunday Session.

Batifoler means 'to romp or to lark about; to flirt'- appropriate descriptors of this cheerful suburban bistro. Quality, well-priced Gallic classics are prepared and served by an all-French staff, encouraging diners to pull out their dodgy high school French in order to completely capture the French experience. The dishes have a predominantly hearty provincial flavour, with occasional Mediterranean notes from France's southern neighbours.
