Moss Vale Golf Course is a golfer's paradise in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. The Moss Vale Golf Course is regarded as one of the prettiest and challenging courses in New South Wales, with avenues of pines, elms, gums and vividly coloured claret ash flanking the winding layout. The course was completed in its current layout in 1936. The course is 5,995 metre par 72 from the men's tees. A number of twists and turns, in addition to small elevated greens, make it a good test. The creek which runs through the course has to be crossed 12 times during the round! From the clubhouse, the Moss Vale layout appears hilly, but after the opening five holes it levels out. There are motorised carts for hire.

Gallery Ecosse is a contemporary art gallery situated in the Southern Highlands of NSW in the beautiful historic village of Exeter, showcasing some of the most exciting contemporary artists in Australia. The gallery exhibits a range of work by Australian contemporary artists including prominent Indigenous artists as a permanent part of the stable. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, artefacts, and limited edition works are available. The Directors of Gallery Ecosse are committed to promoting a diverse group of artists who work both in Australia and abroad. Artists shown include Adam Cullen, Maningrida Artists, Oliver Watts, Julian Meagher, Tjawina Porter Nampitjinpa, Dean Brown, and Jasper Knight among others. Gallery Ecosse holds solo exhibitions for each of its artists in the historic 'Halcyon Cottage' (circa 1869). In between shows the gallery features group exhibitions, and also shows by invited established artists. These would interest the discerning art collector....
