Originally located in the Broadway on Nepean highway, Rosebud cinema moved to its current address in 1977. It was then an independent cinema owned by Lloyd and Marie Whitaker and managed by Peter Hansen. It opened at this site on December 21st 1977 with a single screen. In 1983 a second screen was added and in 1994 a third screen was completed which permitted the complex to screen up to 24 sessions a day.

On the 20th November 1997 Rosebud cinema opened for trade after being transformed into a six-screen complex. It was then owned by a partnership between Lloyd and Marie Whitaker and Robert and Mem Kirby.

We have a large range of amusement machines including pool table/s, air hockey, driving games and pin ball machines. All our video/amusement machines are changed regularly for new and exciting machines.

Rosebud Plaza is situated in Rosebud on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, approximately 75 kilometres south of the Melbourne Central Business District. Formally Port Phillip Plaza, the centre was renamed in 2006 to coincide with the opening of the centre's major expansion project.

The centre was first developed in 1986 and is now the only shopping centre on the Mornington Peninsula to offer the convenience of Kmart. Target, Coles and Safeway as well as over 55 retail stores.

Ace-Hi is situated on the Mornington Peninsula at Cape Schanck only minutes from Rosebud and just over an hours drive from Melbourne. With 43 years of pick your own cherries Red Hill Cherry Farm is the oldest in the state and are considered an essential visit when on the Mornington Peninsula. Situated in a secluded valley in the centre of Red Hill, the Holmes family has been farming in Red Hill since the late 1800's. In 1969 they grew 100 trees with three varieties of cherries, now they own 4500 trees, which include 25 varieties. Red Hill Cherry Farm have selected cherry varieties that suitable for their growing area and have a unique intense flavour. Visitors want to pick their own cherries for the intense flavour and freshness from tree ripened fruit. Red Hill Cherry Farm also sell their cherries direct to the public from the farm gate. Cherries develop 60 per cent of their sweetness and flavour in the last week of ripening. The cool Red Hill climate and rich volcanic soil add to the unique flavour of the cherries. Named after its mushroom shaped reef, Mushroom Reef Marine Sanctuary protects 80ha of the open coast of Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula. Composed of sandstone rock platforms extending from the shore, the park includes sheltered rock pools, coves and a shallow reef on the ocean side. The reef is formed from ancient basalt which has weathered beautifully, allowing creatures to hide within crevices and cracks or under loose rocks. This area is famous for its diversity of marine life and has attracted scientists for over 100 years. The intertidal soft sediment is an important feeding and roosting habitat for many birds. When searching the rockpools one can find many crabs, multicoloured cushion seastars, numerous species of snails and delicate anemones. The seafloor (2-3m) is covered with canopy forming brown algae and patches of seagrass which attract many species of fish such as morwongs, wrasse, cowfish and Victoria's marine emblem, the Weedy Seadragon. If you're lucky you may be able to spot a Black and White Seastar. This amazing creature is one of only two seastars known to brood its young in its stomach. Where the view is worth the drive' Rosebud Park Golf Course is part of a Crown Land Reserve, located on the slopes of Arthur's Seat and providing panoramic views of Port Phillip Bay stretching from the city skyline to the Heads. Ocean Eight Vineyard & Winery is owned by the Aylward family who started producing wine on the Mornington Peninsula in 1997. The focus was top quality wine that suited the climate of the Mornington Peninsula, specialising in making Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and recently released a sparkling wine, inspired by the French Champagne. All Ocean Eight's wines are made in small quantities and batches to ensure high quality and a focused style of their Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and sparkling wine can be achieved. Red Hill Cheese established their small modern cheesery and cellar door on the farm at Red Hill in April 2000, making distinctive, handcrafted regional cheeses to complement Mornington Peninsula wines. They are now joined by a farmer and cheesemaker with their flock of milking sheep, producing wonderful ewe's milk at Moyarra in Gippsland's "Prom Country". An exciting new range of sheep cheese now adds to the flavour experience offered by Red Hill Cheese released under their Prom Country Cheese banner. The Enchanted Adventure Garden is an award-winning natural fun park, just one hour from Melbourne at Arthurs Seat. Featuring three hedge mazes, four giant tube slides, 20 themed gardens, an outdoor sculpture park and an indoor three-dimensional maze, this beautiful outdoor adventure park has something for everyone. Tree surfing is new to the park in 2013. The family-owned winery, Foxeys Hangout Winery, grows, makes and sells acclaimed cool-climate wines in the beautiful hills of the Mornington Peninsula, just an hour's drive south of Melbourne. Winemaker brothers Michael and Tony Lee are former Melbourne restaurateurs who turned their years of love and knowledge of fine wines into a livelihood when they planted the first of their three small Peninsula vineyards. Ashcombe Maze & Lavender Gardens is home to Australia's oldest and most famous hedge maze, a beautiful circular rose maze, and the year round flowering Lavender Labyrinth, all set among 25 acres of world acclaimed gardens. The traditional hedge Maze is planted with more than 1000 cypress trees and thousands of metres of pathways. Now more than three metres high and two metres thick, the Maze keeper clips the hedges three times a year to keep it sculpted into a curvaceous challenge that will delight and inspire. The Lavender Labyrinth is planted with year round flowering lavender and the view from the centre over the lavender rows is spectacular. Hickinbotham of Dromana was recently established in 1988. The brewery on site has led to many internationally acclaimed beers, all which are on tap at the Cellar Door. Located on the Morningotn Peninsula, they are knwon for their wines such as Taminga, Chardonnay with Aligote, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Merlot, Merlot, Shiraz, Strawberry Kiss. They also brew their own beer, these are Summer Ale, Pilsener, Pale Ale, Brown Ale, Stout and Barley wine. It is truly a great find, for a touch of the exotic visit the micro-boutique Nazaaray on the Mornington Peninsula. To avoid monoculture the vines are interspersed with Australian natives and a minimalistic approach is taken to using sprays. Nirmal, the owner, is an environmentalist and the focus is on melding with nature and planting. Birds abound as do kangaroos. The occasional echidna or koala can be seen. There is a donkey for weed control and two resident Highland long horned, very hairy, loveable cows. Main Ridge Estate is the Mornington Peninsula’s original commercial winery, established in 1975. Established in 1989, Darling Park has earned a reputation for producing exquisite wines that reflect the cool climate of the Mornington Peninsula. Open for tastings every day of the week, Darling Park specialise in Pinot Gris, Viognier, Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, and late harvest (Cane-cut) Pinot Gris. Lunch is available daily. 'Darling Park's driveway descends a hill to the cellar door, leaving the bustle of the main road well behind. There's a slight, fairy-tale feel in this forest clearing. The cellar door has a pointy tower, undulating mosaic 'landscapes' grace a little children's area outside, and wine labels feature fantasies by leading artists. The idea for Paradigm Hill was conceived almost 30 years ago. They have always been passionate about food and wine and their 'other' careers have laid the foundation for this adventure.

As with so many other things they have ever tackled, Paradigm Hill was a case of "all or none" and their obsession with the pursuit of quality has meant pushing the boundaries with viticulture and viniculture and to work within the domain of ecologically responsible practices.

It has often been said, great wine is made in the vineyard. They have just over ten acres of north facing gently sloping vineyard. The vineyard has been established with a very low density of vines (average only 500 vines per acre) grafted onto vigour and phylloxera resistant rootstock.

The trellis runs north south and vines have been trained to a 'vision, service, plan' approach with a keen eye on ensuring a balanced vine. They are committed to using only estate grown grapes for on site production of Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Pinot Gris and Riesling.

The philosophy of their wine making is to guide the wine with minimal intervention, through the vinification process. The fruit is picked by loving hands, with vintage being a time for celebration.
