Step back in time to the days of Cobb and Co Coaches with a visit to the Reynella Horse Changing Station. Built in the 1850’s, the carefully restored building has had many different uses, including time as a stable, a church, a black smith’s shop and, of course, as a station at which stage coaches on the Adelaide to Willunga route would stop and change horses.
An interesting collection of historical artefacts, heritage information and photographs describing and depicting this fascinating history are now on display in the restored building. Mementos of your visit can also be purchased.
Car parking and toilet facilities are available in the shopping centre located on the same site as the Reynella Horse Changing Station.
Entry via a gold coin donation to assist with restoration.
