The Noosa Open Day is a relaxed, social event and only as competitive as you want it to be. It’s the perfect opportunity to bring some friends along and introduce them to open water swimming, as well as try stepping up in distance to try a five kilometre course, train like a pro and do as many distances as you like (day passes are available so you can try any event), try an ocean swim in a relaxed, social atmosphere (events are not timed), or swim with fins or flippers (which you often can’t do at a timed event).
