The art director has developed a perceptive skill in displaying this assortment of distinctively different pieces in a pleasingly harmonious manner. This effect not only allows the individuality of each piece to stand out but also for this compilation of artwork to become an entity of its own. The Starving Artist art gallery is one of three separate businesses located at Devil's Den on the way to Tahune Airwalk. This creates the capacity for sales commissions that are exceedingly lower than at most other art galleries. This equates to sale prices that are remarkably lower and more affordable than you will find elsewhere. Most importantly - it also means that the artist receives a more significant portion of the sale. It is the enjoyment of the artwork along with the artist receiving not only acknowledgment of their talent but also fair financial compensation that is the driving force behind The Starving Artist!

Tas-Saff

155 Dillons Hill Road, Glaziers Bay TAS 7109
Tas-Saff is the saffron hub south of the equator. Terry, Nicky and Patrick Noonan original sea-changers from Sydney in the late '80s, pioneered the saffron industry in Australia. You will find Tas-Saff perched high on the hill overlooking Glaziers Bay in the idyllic Huon Valley south of Hobart. 184 lanes road, Glen Huon TAS 7109
Campo de Flori is Field of Flowers in Italian and this is what is grown on this 52 acre Glen Huon Farm managed by David Peck and Lisa Britzman. This boutique farm and ceramic artistry have bundled the sensory pleasures of the rare spice saffron, fragrant lavender, and olives with bespoke ceramics. Add in a strong ethos of sustainability on this four-season farm and you have a magnet for day-trippers looking to experience many of Tasmania's brand jewels in one spot. The farm has spectacular vistas towards the snow-capped Hartz mountains and overlooks the Glen Huon Valley and Huon River. The farm features a farmgate shop/gallery where visitors can taste their Extra Virgin Olive Oil and lavender tea and purchase their "Delicious" Award-winning saffron products, culinary lavender, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and bespoke lavender and ceramics made on the farm. Lisa's working ceramic studio is next to the farmgate where you can see bespoke ceramic pieces being made. August through March special events and workshops are on offer at the farm, so watch their Facebook page for upcoming events. We REOPENED with a Covid-19 safety plan.
