Commando Skydivers is Victoria's longest running skydiving club, with almost 50 years of continuous operation. During that time our club has taught thousands of skydivers, performed tens of thousands of parachute drops, and even trained a number of Australian and World champions!

No matter what you're looking for - a Tandem skydive experience, or a Learn to Skydive course, we have just the package for you. We provide complete training, and can even record this special event for you with a custom DVD, and Stills photos, so you can re-live your awesome skydiving experience over and over again!

Not yet ready for the thrill of skydiving? Spectators are encouraged to join in the excitement of the experience from the ground.

Located on the South Gippsland Freeway, Commando Skydivers is the easiest dropzone to drive to, and is only 45 minutes from Melbourne. With an on site restaurant, we encourage you to turn your experience into a memorable adventure and invite your friends and family.

Our aircraft facilities are built to handle groups of any size and our instructors will ensure your jump is as memorable as it is exhilarating. The flight to height will take you over Westernport Bay, with panoramic views of French Island, Philip Island, Melbourne City, and the Dandenong Ranges.

After 20 years of planning, construction and planting, the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne vibrant Australian Garden is now complete. An additional six hectares of landscaped garden sees the entire Australian Garden almost double in size, bringing the total size of the Garden to an impressive 15 hectares. The new area comprises 11 new precincts and new facilities including a visitor kiosk at the northern end of the Garden, boardwalks and viewing platforms on Howson and Gibson Hills, and an amphitheatre for education programs and performances. The aim of the Royal Botanic Gardens in creating the Australian Garden is to share with visitors the beauty and diversity of Australian plants. It is a place where you can explore the evolving connections between people, plants and landscapes. The Australian Garden is also a place where you can discover inspiration and information about how to use Australian plants in your garden. Tours, activities and programs in the Australian Garden provide a range of informative and exciting experiences for visitors of all ages. From the Australian Garden, head into the bushland and picnic areas or visit the Gardens Shop, Boon Wurrung Cafe or Kiosk. The Woodland Picnic Area is a fantastic space for family, friends and community groups. It has free gas barbecues, picnic tables, a huge children's playground and large open spaces for ball games. Entry to the Woodland Picnic Area is free. The Woodland Picnic Area can be accessed from the Australian Garden car park by foot, only 400 metres walk. The ten kilometres of walking tracks, abundance of native animals and Trig Point, a lookout tower, the gardens are an ideal place for natures-lovers to enjoy the Australian bush. The Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne is located just 45 minutes' from Melbourne by car.

Inspired by the work of famous British conservationist Gerald Durrell, Moonlit Sanctuary is now home to 50 Australian species. Many including about 80 wallabies, free to roam through the bush and give visitors a rare natural encounter. Others are housed in large natural enclosures, including endangered creatures such as the strange-looking bush thick-knees bird whose calls have not been heard on the Mornington Peninsula for more than 60 years. Cuddle up to koalas, feed kangaroos and wallabies, meet endangered species all in a beautiful bushland setting at Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, winner of the Victorian Tourism Awards in Ecotourism. Only 50 minutes drive from the centre of Melbourne. At night, Moonlit Sanctuary comes alive in a remarkable way, with world-famous lantern-lit tours. Owls and other night birds are active, tiny feather-tail gliders and giant yellow-bellied gliders swoop around, and quolls, pademelons and bettongs forage for food. Visitors are amazed that even animals such as wallabies are much more active and responsive at night. Pademelons, southern bettongs and quolls, endangered fluffy gliders, squirrel gliders and Tasmanian Devils are also protected at Moonlit Sanctuary, receiving the Sustainable Cities award for Preservation of the Environment. Colourful parrots abound, waterbirds are at home in extensive wetlands and visitors can sample the flourishing bush foods garden. Meet critically endangered orange-bellied parrots and regent honeyeaters. You can visit Moonlit Sanctuary via a Bunyip Tour or Gray Line day tour to Phillip Island, or transfers from city hotels are available for evening tours.

Located between the mainland and Quail Island Nature Conservation Reserve in Western Port, this park is part of the Western Port RAMSAR wetlands and is an area of international significance due to its importance for wader birds. The area encompasses a variety of ecologically important habitats including saltmarsh, mangroves, sheltered intertidal mudflats, subtidal soft sediments and tidal channels. Many of the variety of habitats present in Yaringa are essential for the survival of a huge range of species. The mudflats are an important feeding ground for many wader and other water birds. Some of these birds, such as the Red-necked Stint, breed in the Northern Hemisphere and migrate to Yaringa Marine National Park in the warmer months. Over 295 bird species have been spotted in Western Port with 32 of these species known to be migratory birds. Before you go Conditions can change in parks for many reasons. Cranbourne is part of the City of Casey and is located 50 kilometres south-east of Melbourne. The Greyhound track is situated inside the Harness track that is in turn located inside the Turf track, which is located at the Cranbourne Racing Centre, Grant St, Cranbourne. The club races every week and is generally on a Wednesday night. The club offers free entry to every race meeting and has excellent facilities in the newly renovated Grandstand opened in October 2014. There is a very spacious air-conditioned grandstand with a lift available to the first floor. Founded in 1974, the Cranbourne Greyhound Racing Club is the only venue in Victoria that hosts all three codes of racing – thoroughbred, harness and greyhound – celebrated in an annual TRI Codes Night when all three codes race alongside each other. Following a $3.2 million upgrade in 2014, the club’s Grandstand has room for over 900 people over two floors with great track views and hosts a range of social functions and business events....
