Wild Lime Cooking School uses wild bush food in fusion with Asian and Mediterranean cuisine. A two hour hands on class is followed by lunch with local wines. The venue is the gleaming stainless steel kitchen of Wild Lime Cottage situated one and a half hours from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast at the wilderness end of Lamington National Park. Classes are held monthly with themes taken from journeys enjoyed by the owners to a variety of places around the globe. The Eveleigh Artisans’ Market is held on the first Sunday of the month from 10am to 3pm, providing a platform for emerging and contemporary independent designers, artists and makers to showcase and sell their wares directly to the public.

Each stallholder is selected for their inventive nature and creative pulse that brings a variety of creations to the Artisans' Market from the fields of art, ceramics, sculpture, sustainable design, fashion, jewellery, accessories, home wares, textiles, furniture, children’s designs and much more.

Held in the heritage Blacksmith's Workshop, the venue offers a truly inspirational all weather market to showcase a wide range of creative talent who are spurring on the evolving design, art and maker scene in Australia.

Located in Darlington, a short walk from Redfern train station and a handful of other galleries, the Sheffer Gallery often features unconventional works from unrepresented artists. The seven-year-old space is housed in a re-adapted workshop that's filled with natural light and features high ceilings. The gallery holds a variety of exhibitions, events and performances.

Eagle's View Walk Trail is a 15 kilometre moderate loop walk around John Forrest National Park, Western Australia's oldest national park, with impressive views across the Swan Coastal Plain to distant Perth the track passes through varied vegetation types, including heath lands, open wandoo woodlands and mixed jarrah-marri-wandoo forest. This Top Trail takes walkers away from the picnic areas, initially following Jane Brook down the valley. It then climbs up the valley wall to great views of the city and ocean. The trail then weaves its way up and down valleys, creek lines and hills before heading back to the brook. There are different ecosystems along the way and spring wildflowers are spectacular. Hovea Falls is a pretty place for a picnic lunch when water is flowing. The trail follows Jane Brook back to the main visitor's area. Signs every two kilometres advise how far you have walked and how far to go. The trail can be tackled clockwise or anticlockwise. The walk trail brochure is available from the ranger's office, along with the walker's log book. Walkers must register before they head off and on their return.

Darlington Estate Winery and Restaurant is situated just 25 kilometres from Perth, set atop a beautifully wooded valley with sweeping views of eucalypt bushland.

The winery offers wine tastings and cellar door sales, while the restaurant is famous for its ambience, atmosphere and rustic surroundings.
