Rayner's Stonefruit Orchard currently grow over 300 varieties of fruit and is less than one hours drive from the city centre, located in Melbourne's food bowl, the Yarra Valley. The Big Bouquet is a modern, working cut flower farm and alpaca stud located in Healesville in the heart of the Yarra Valley, only an hour from Melbourne. Stefani Estate is a family owned boutique winery which has spectacular vineyards in both the Yarra Valley and Heathcote regions, Victoria. Come and enjoy a Heritage Railway Ride from Healesville Station through the beautiful Yarra Valley to the 150 metre long brick tunnel on the Yarra Valley Railway. Bring your family on the 40 minute return trip. The kids will love the ride with a tunnel, the eagle's nest and possible kangaroos along the way. Before and after your trip you can relax in front of the fire with a cappuccino while the kids enjoy themselves on the extensive children's adventure play ground at the front of the station. Group bookings involve a minimum cost and should be made at least three days in advance. One ride can cater for a maximum of 40 passengers. For groups with more than 40 passengers, two trips can be made. Refreshments including soft drinks, cappuccino, tea, hot chocolate and snacks are on sale in the station kiosk. Morning and afternoon tea or salad meals can be arranged on request. Night Owls travel under the stars along the track to see the sights and hear the sounds of the valley at night. The ride returns for a meal. Ask about the Night Owl Specials, meal and ride deal. Groups only. The TarraWarra Museum of Art is the first privately funded, significant public visual arts museum to be set up under the Australian Government's philanthropic measures announced in March 1999. TWMA operates as a not-for-profit institution, with a charter to display Australian art from the second half of the twentieth century to the present day. Eva and Marc Besen had long dreamt of sharing their inexhaustible passion for Australian art with the people of Australia and beyond. In 1999, the first steps were taken to make this dream a reality, with the formulation of a vision for a new museum in the Yarra Valley, with its own collection of Australian art chosen from their private collection that has been lovingly assembled over the last fifty years. In 2000, an architectural competition was conducted with five of Melbourne's most outstanding architects invited to present design schemes for the museum. Allan Powell's design for this elegant building, arcing gently from the earth in concert with the contours and hues of the landscape, was chosen. Healesville Glass Blowing Studio is the studio of artists Tim Bassett and Tali Dalton. The studio was established in 2009 and is located in the beautiful Yarra Valley winery region of Victoria. Tim and Tali create a range of glass art from sculpture, chandeliers and custom lighting to blown glass vases, platters and bowls. Between them their work is held in several museum collections around the world including The Australian National Glass Art Collection and The Victoria and Albert museum in London. Visitors to the studio are able to watch the ancient art of glass blowing from the mezzanine viewing area in the gallery. The opportunity for a hands on experience is also offered, you can make your own paperweight or book in for a beginners glassblowing class. Boat O'Craigo has one of the Yarra Valley's best located cellar doors. At the far end of Healesville en route to the high country, it sits above vines next to Graceburn River. Forested hills and mountains fill the panoramic windows, kangaroos and wild ducks fossick among the vines and magpies chortle in the trees. Excellent whites are made from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, elegant reds from Pinot Noir and Shiraz. Try them here with a grazing plate of local specialities, sit back and breathe the mountain air.

The ancestors of Boat O'Craigo Wines haled from the township of Craigo in Scotland. Their farm was located on the banks of the River Esk where the ferry would dock. Hence they named their farm Boat O'Craigo. Drawing from this Scottish heritage, comes Boat O'Craigo Vineyards with wines that also carry names synonymous with Scotland's history.

One of the highest altitude vineyards in the Yarra Valley, the vines lay in the foothills of the Black Spur Ranges. It is here that the cellar door is situated. Floor to ceiling views over looking the vineyard and Mt. Riddle make this a truly spectacular experience when you walk through the door.

Hedgend also offer Laser Sport - a combat simulation game, for something completely different during your visit. Sessions run separately from Hedgend Maze and it is recommended you book ahead of your arrival to avoid disappointment. Laser Sport is the most realistic and advanced combat simulation skirmish to be found anywhere in Melbourne. Teams work together on planning and strategy, enabling them to achieve their aims to fulfil military missions and matches. Participants engage in a minimum of four matches over the two-hour session, spreading over different areas the Hedgend Maze property. So prepare yourself for an exciting team game using stealth, stamina and plenty of tactics to get the adrenaline pumping.
