The historic church was completed in 1892 and styled after the medieval Anglo-Saxon churches of 13th century Britain. The tower of this architectural style was built as a defensive structure - enabling inhabitants a high lookout point that was an easily defensible position to ward of attacks. The tower of St Andrew's church was utilised in Word War II as an official lookout for the air wardens. The Church itself houses a pipe organ containing 665 pipes built in 1904. The Corn Trail Walking Track

Take a journey back in time and follow a route that has been used for thousands of years. Popular today with bushwalkers and horse riding groups, Corn Trail walking track was originally used by Aboriginal people on their seasonal travels between the coast and the tablelands, then later by European settlers on pack horses carrying supplies. This historic trail takes you downhill from high mountain ridges to deep rainforest-filled valleys. You'll cross the gently flowing Mongarlowe and Buckenbowra Rivers, wander through warm temperate rainforest and walk through eucalypt forests. You’ll also catch glimpses of Mount Budawang and the sandstone peaks of Pigeon House and Castle Mountain further north. It’s a difficult walk, so you’ll need to come prepared, but the scenery is worth it. It is easier to do this walk downhill from the Dasyurus Picnic Area to the Lower Corn Trail car park, which allows you to do a car shuffle. You can access Lower Corn Trail car park via the Misty Mountain and No Name Mountain Roads. It's a 40 minute, one-way drive from Kings Highway, but well worth to have a vehicle and supplies waiting for you at the end of a long day. ...

This is bushwalking at its best for those with a keen sense of adventure. Threading through a diverse range of environments – grassy woodland, wet gullies, montane forest and grassland at the top – you’re exposed to a terrific cross-section of what makes Budawang National Park wilderness. The rare Budawang wallaby grass, for example, is only found on the summits of Mount Budawang and Currockbilly Mountain. Bring binoculars for birdwatching, too – crescent honeyeaters and olive whistlers are known to frequent higher areas of the park. The ascent is about 430m up a steep-sided mountain range, but the scenic views from Mount Budawang are tremendous, with 360-degree views of the surrounding area. To the north, along the Budawang Range, are the Castle and Pigeon House Mountain Didthul. To the east are Durras Mountain and the NSW coast. Down below is the forested Clyde River valley, and further afield west you can see all the way to Braidwood’s Mount Gillamatong....

There are trails criss-crossing the park, but make sure you’ve got a topographic map – as well as everything else you’ll need - before you set out. For those wanting to relax, a picnic by Mulloon Creek, some birdwatching and wildlife-spotting – wombats, red-neck wallabies and the spotted-tail quoll are all found here – or overnight camping are all recommended.
