The 2016 Australian Ice Hockey League All-Star Weekend will take place at Penrith Ice Palace and showcases the talent and personalities of the best ice hockey players in the Southern Hemisphere in a series of skills competitions and an All-Star ice hockey game. Each of the 34 All-Stars will compete in at least one of the six rounds of skill-based contests: Breakaway Challenge, Fastest Skater, Elimination Shoot-out, Hardest Shot, Shooting Accuracy, and Puck Control.
