The Polish Hill River Church Museum has been established by the South Australian Polish community in order to document and commemorate the contribution of Polish migrants to the development of the state. The Polish Hill River Church Museum is situated in a picturesque valley, a few kilometres south of the Jesuit church and winery at Sevenhill. The valley is home to Paulette's, Pikes' and Wilson wineries, all of which have tasting and cellar-door sales facilities available. Polish Hill River is within easy reach of the historic settlements of Mintaro, Penwortham and Sevenhill with its winery and cemetery in which many Polish pioneers are buried. From the early 1850s onwards, numbers of Poles migrated to the area. The Lomandra Walking Trail opened in April 2010 and is a two and a half hour return walk beside the Blyth Golf Course. Hundreds of local provenance plants line the walk, many with descriptive signage. In winter and spring the walk has wide views across the Blyth Plains to the Clare Hills and Hummocks Ranges. The walk has a gentle gradient and is suitable for all ages. Visitors can also take in a game of golf starting from the Clubhouse (a winter/spring course only) at very low fees....

Pikes is a family owned winery, established in 1984 by Neil and Andrew Pike. Over the years the business has grown somewhat, but Pikes still has plenty of charm and character. The Pikes label was founded on great Riesling which was again confirmed when the renowned Pikes 'Traditionale' Riesling was awarded the Best Australian Riesling at the 2013 Canberra International Riesling Challenge. However, Pikes also offers a wide range of wine styles to suit all tastes. Our cellar door and winery is located amongst the vineyards on our property at Polish Hill River. The restored stone building, originally a shearing shed, was built by Polish immigrants in the 1800's. Adjacent to the cellar door is a beautifully landscaped area for visitors to sit, relax and enjoy a delicious picnic grazing plate and a glass of wine or a Pikes Beer. The grounds are also available to host weddings, wedding photos and other celebrations. Along with the tasting room we have the Gallery @ Pikes that showcases high quality art works from a variety of artists, the exhibitions changing every two months.
