Duffs Cottage (circa 1900) is a timber clad Victorian home completely renovated and extended in 2006/7. Ideally situated, the cottage is 40 minutes from the beautiful Great Ocean Road. The premises is located in the Victorian precinct of Colac adjoining the historic Duffs Cafe/Restaurant (circa 1890) renowned for fine food and alfresco dining, two minutes from the main shopping centre of Coalc next door to an excellent hair salon. There are two suites each named after early western district explorers, Hesse and Gellibrand who lost their way and disappeared in the district in 1837. The Gellibrand suite features two separate room, a sitting room separate bedroom with adjoining ensuite including a bath and large shower access. The Hesse suites comprises bed/sitting room accommodation of generous proportions, featuring superb antique furnishings, light fittings and classic window drapes, comfortable lounges and flat screen television.
