We offer volunteer opportunities in and around the Townsville region that connect people to nature and contribute to improving and protecting native habitats. Overlooking beautiful Rowes Bay and Magnetic Island, the ocean view nursery concentrates on producing local provenance species for planting in areas around Townsville and North Queensland. Learn how to process seeds and raise seedlings for revegetation projects that preserve the local gene pool and biodiversity. Join us from 8:00 am to midday on Fridays and learn new skills while meeting new people. If you're interested in more conservation projects, check out our website. We occasionally run family friendly weekend events like tree plantings and beach clean ups or, for the more adventurous, there are monthly camping trips to beautiful, remote locations. ...
