Locally grown herbs from kitchen gardens are used in the salads.

The lunch menu offers more cafe style foods, homemade burgers and freshly prepared salads are more likely to be on the menu. Whereas the dinner menu offers more restaurant influenced dishes, like Parmesan & sage crumbed Veal escallop served with Mediterranean vegetable ratatouille & jus.

Celebrate 23 years of the iconic Maleny Wood Expo with three days of clean country family fun in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Telling the whole timber story and designed to promote sustainable use of native timbers through the work of regional wood artisans, the Expo is now recognised as one of the best wood shows in Australia. All wood exhibitors are required to use sustainably harvested native timbers, weed or recycled timbers. Wander at leisure through lovingly crafted timber products, talk to the craftsmen and women who’ve created them, and visit the Sunshine Coast Wootha Prize exhibition. Glimpse skills of the early timber-cutters, see the best in both hand-crafted traditional and high tech tools and smell the spicy aroma of newly milled timber. In the Junior Landcare Paddock, the hub for kids' activities, kids of all ages can learn from experienced woodcrafters and use real tools to make toys, furniture or a gift for Mum. With native plants for sale, live demonstrations of mobile milling, chainsaw carving, woodworking, trade tools and more, it really is “from seed to fine furniture”.
