Redlands IndigiScapes Centre is Australia's first environmental centre for indigenous plants. The 14.5 hectare site offers 14 demonstration gardens, over a kilometre of walking tracks, an environmental information centre, conference facilities, tea garden café, gift shop and nursery. There are a range of tours on offer incorporating bush tucker, bird watching and general information about the flora and fauna of the area. The demonstration gardens feature a range of different themes including coastal, scribbly gum, formal, wildlife attracting, grey gum, water wise, and rainforest, wetland and creek vegetation.

Historic Ormiston House was built in the 1860s by Captain Louis Hope, who was to become known as the Father of the Australian Sugar Industry. Since commencing operation 50 years ago with the first vehicle ferry, MV Myora, Stradbroke Ferries has grown to become the largest marine operator in Moreton Bay, with seven vehicle ferries and one water taxi. Today Stradbroke Ferries operates vehicle ferries and water taxi services to Straddie and vehicle ferry services to the Southern Bay Islands of Lamb, Karragarra, Macleay and Russell. Stradbroke Ferries are open for business 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with booking offices located at Cleveland and Redland Bay on the mainland, and Dunwich on North Stradbroke Island. The North Stradbroke Island terminal is located at Toondah Harbour at the end of Middle Street in Cleveland. The Redland Bay terminal for services to Russell, Lamb, Macleay and Karragarra Islands is located on Weinam Street. Visitors to Cleveland Point Reserve could be forgiven for thinking they had landed on an island paradise. The track, which is relatively flat and features concrete pathways and boardwalks that take you through a variety of habitats, is perfect for children or those of us who are not so fit! The Redlands Coast is home to the crystal blue waters of southern Moreton Bay and teems with an abundance of marine life, approximately 335 kilometres of coastline, beautiful hinterland and coastal villages – each with its own personality – a strong heritage, the oldest living culture on Earth, island gems just a short hop from Brisbane. RAG’s exhibitions and events feature local, Queensland, nationally and internationally recognised artists. Their exhibition program is showcased in six exhibition spaces over two locations at Cleveland and Capalaba. RAG programs extend to island and mainland locations and their policy is to resource and present a professionally managed visual art exhibition facility which has an annual calendar of exhibitions and public programs that provide opportunities for the Redlands Coast community and visitors to the Redlands Coast to access and engage with the visual arts.
