There is a wide variety of flora and fauna to be observed in Cania Gorge National Park. More than 150 plant species grow in the brigalow forest, eucalypt and cypress pine woodlands, dry rainforest and grassland. In excess of 90 species of birds have been recorded in the park. The best time to visit Cania Gorge National park is in spring when you can see ked kurrajong flowers in bloom. Highlights of the Fern Tree Pool and Giant's Chair Circuit include: spectacular views, sandstone cliffs, abundant birdlife, aboriginal rock art and narrow gorges.
