Meet your ghost tour guide at the imposing front gates of Boggo Road Gaol in Dutton Park, just across the road from Dutton Park Police Station and Park Road Train Station.Â
Once issued with a torch, you shall step inside the huge Gatehouse of the prison. To add to the experience of the tour, torches are switched off during the stories, plunging you into the atmospheric darkness of the gaol.
As you walk through the darkened back track, circle and cell blocks, your guide will share stories of the ghosts that haunt Boggo Road Gaol and those who encountered them. Some stories are funny and some are downright chilling - all of them interesting.
Expect a leisurely walk over 2 hours, with frequent stops for photo opportunities and dramatic story telling - disabled access and seating is available.
