The people who brought us the genteel sophistication of the original QVB icon have are behind this second Tea Room in another historic location. This edition has its home in the stunning sandstone setting of the Gunners' Barracks - a picturesque building dating back to 1873 and surrounded by tranquil gardens and bushland. Traditional silver-serviced afternoon tea gets a big swig of brash Sydney style with dazzling views of Rose Bay and Camp Cove. North shore socialites now have a new place to do lunch, and Mosman matrons will be thrilled that they can enjoy the decadent teas for which the Tea Room is known, without crossing the Bridge.
