2016 will celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the Festival. The day program will include a wide range of activities, entertainment and displays for all ages. One of the features that continues to grow is the 'Tastes of the Southern Forests' avenue. Guests will be able to watch cooking demonstrations and sample tastings of produce grown in the region and prepared by some of Australia's well known chefs. The Festival's street theatre line-up is one of the major attractions throughout the day, with visitors experiencing acts from Western Australia and who have performed overseas. The long table lunch on Sunday continues to grow, and allows guests to sample the best of the region's wines and food in the ambience of sitting amongst cherry trees in full fruit....

The Manjimup Timber and Heritage Park, centrally located within the Manjimup town-site, highlights the region’s working life and cultural heritage. Set on 10-hectares of natural landscaped and grassed picnic areas are the State Timber Museum, Age of Steam Museum, historical hamlet with period buildings and exhibits, and a full-size replica fire lookout tower. The Snorting Liz and the Saw Pit and rail relics provide a wonderful insight to the technology and techniques of days past, while a timber museum filled with memorabilia will captivate all visitors. In addition to the many historical static displays relating to the early era of timber and steam, the park also hosts the Manjimup Woodturners Association and Manjimup Historical Society. The Manjimup Timber and Heritage Park provides an experience in discovering the area’s rich and colourful history with an insight into how the Lower South West region was developed by the early pioneers of major industries. The Four Aces are four magnificent Karri trees that stand proudly in a line, imposingly within the Karri Forest, 20 minutes from Manjimup. Standing at the base and looking up at the 400 year old giants that stand 75 meters tall offers a remarkable view and memorable experience. A detailed information shelter next to the trees provides an extensive history of the trees and has some incredible statistics. Vist the nearby One Tree Bride adnn Glenoran Pool recreation sites. Both sites have picnic facilities, a toilet and stunning views right on the banks of the Donnelly River. A walk-trail links Four Aces, One Tree Bridge and Glenoran Pool. Located three and a half hours south of Perth, the drive through the forests of Manjimup is breathtaking. Make sure you keep an eye out for the tree towers that were created in the 1930s to help detect forest fires and can be found scattered throughout the forests....

Diamond Tree Lookout Manjimup provides a unique opportunity to gain a spectacular bird's eye view across the treetops of the Karri forest near Manjimup. Not designed for the faint hearted, the gruelling 51-metre climb to the top of the world's only wooden treetop tower will reward all visitors with an incredible panoramic view. Explore the beautiful forest surrounding the lookout on foot, with a leisurely stroll along the beautiful walk-trail. Stop for a relaxing picnic lunch within the tranquil surroundings or explore more of the beautiful forests along the walk-trail. Witness the stunning wildflower display between September and November, discover an array of Australian marsupials that call the forest home or try your luck at catching marron or trout from the forest streams. Diamond Tree Lookout was one of several lookouts constructed in the 1930s and 1940s when the extreme height of the trees within the Karri forest made it too costly to build a fire lookout tower. Diamond Tree Lookout is a short 15 minute drive from the town of Manjimup which is just under four hours drive south of Perth.
