The Meadows Monthly Market is held on the second Sunday of each month and features stalls inside and outside with a wide variety of local produce including vegetables, fruit, jams, honey and eggs, plants, books, crafts and collectables. There are displays and demonstrations, which vary from month to month. Barbecue, Devonshire teas, sandwiches and soup are available at reasonable prices. Proceeds assist maintenance of the Meadows Hall. Admission is free and there is plenty of car parking, as well as a playground and park nearby. The Meadows Four Day Easter Fair is held each year at the Meadows Hall and admission is free. (Please note: if the weather forecast is 40 degrees or more, the market will be cancelled.)

A historical walking trail through the remains of the Jupiter Creek gold diggings. Bushwalkers can visit the old diggings at Chapel Hill and follow the sign-posted path to find some of these relics then on to Jupiter Creek to follow the heritage trail which has signposts and information boards describing successive phases of mining at the site. It includes the 1869 chimney associated with the Beatrice Gold Mining Company, 1906 sluicing dam and the 1930 New Phoenix Tunnel. The diggings are a part of the Kuitpo Forest conservation park and registered as State Heritage Items so they'll be preserved for future generations.

A unique feature of the garden is the interactive element, as it encourages veterans to become involved with the garden in practical ways to provide an outlet for those that are in need of a place to feel a connection and find solace.
