Bellbird Cottage is a 20 acre property situated approximately 12 kilometres south west of Picton. A visit to the orchard includes a tour of 1,000 fruit trees which includes peaches, plums, nectarines and apricots. Fresh fruit from the orchard can be purchased from November to February, and is sold by the kilo or box. Enjoy a guided tour of the champion garden. This is a slow walk of about 40 minutes duration where you will see the various gardens and see many birds including peacocks, turkeys, chooks, ducks, geese and their naughty cockatoos - be careful they bite. A large range of dolls, bears, badges, spoons, antiques and other collectables are on display along with an operational HO scale model railway. The small shop sells an assortment of dolls, teddy's, small gifts and homemade jams and pickles. Bookings essential. Group bookings only. Minimum 20 visitors, maximum 50 visitors.

Wallaga Lake, the largest lake in southern NSW, is located seven kilometres north of Bermagui along Wallaga Lake Road. The fishing is fabulous and the serenity of the natural surroundings offers a wonderful place for swimming, boating, sailing, water skiing, bushwalking and bird and wildlife watching. Picnic and toilet facilities are available. There is various accommodation around the lake, including three caravan parks with lakeside camping sites, cabin accommodation and boat hire. Wallaga Lake is the home of Umbarra, the black duck - totem of the Yuin-Monaro people. Merriman Island, within the lake, is gazetted as an Aboriginal Place in recognition of its significance to local Aboriginal people. This island is not accessible to the public and landings are not permitted. Aboriginal middens and artefacts such as cutting stones have been found in the lake area. Please help to conserve these relics by not disturbing them in any way.

From Bermagui, drive south 9.5 kilometres along the Tathra-Bermagui Road to Barragga Bay and turn left into Kullaroo Road. Proceed along the sealed road to the Armands Beach sign and walking track to the beach. From Tathra, drive north 38 kilometres along the Tathra-Bermagui Road to Barragga Bay turning right into Kullaroo Road. Armands Beach was named after a man of French origin, Armand Lemmeric, who owned a farm behind Armands Bay and regularly swam nude at the beach. In the 1930s nude cricket matches were held at the beach. Armands Beach is not patrolled and there are no toilets or facilities. Bring all you need and take away all you bring. Nudity is limited to the extent of the sands of the beach.

This area is highly valued as a special place of customary lores and teaching to the Yuin people of the South Coast of NSW. The teachings say that Mumbulla Creek Falls area is sacred and a part of Mother Earth, which means we must show respect at all times. A 225 metre raised walkway suitable for wheelchair access leads to a viewing platform over the falls. Information on the cultural significance of the area is located on the walk to the falls. Facilities include gas barbecues, picnic tables and an amenities block with pit toilet. The natural rock water slide on the Mumbulla Creek is a popular swimming spot. Care should be taken before diving into the deep swimming hole as tree branches and submerged rocks can be a hazard.

The Bruce Steer Pool is a netted saltwater pool nestled in Bermagui Harbour on the western side of Bermagui Point. A short stroll from the main street, it is an ideal swimming and play place for young children with gentle water, a sandy beach, shade, seating and level parking. In May 2020 an all abilities amenities block, additional seating and shade facilities were constructed at the pool. Stairs were also built leading from the pool area to the another shade shelter and parking area on Bermagui Point. The pool is named in honour of Colonel John Mansel Bruce Steer who served the community of Bermagui with great fervour and skill. He was at the forefront of an agitation for Bermagui harbour improvements which eventuated in a project involving major reclamation and harbour construction. A short drive to the north of Bermagui along Wallaga Lake Road will bring you to the turn off to Camel Rock, a striking rock formation of folded 470 million year old turbidite beds created by underwater avalanches 450 million years ago. There is a viewing platform for this popular scenic attraction, a picnic area in the shade of several large trees, toilet facilities and car and caravan parking. Camel Rock Surf Beach is well known for its great surfing, swimming, snorkelling, rock pools to explore and fishing. The beach is patrolled during the summer months and is well sheltered if there is a north easterly wind. Take the walking track at the back of the viewing platform to Murunna Point, a significant Aboriginal place, which overlooks Wallaga Lake where it opens to the sea....
