\'Temptation\' is a 58ft x 32 ft aluminium high performance sailing catamaran, which was built by the owner/operator in South Australia.
She is survey registered to hold 50 day passengers or sleep 19 overnight and can travel anywhere in the world, making her an extremely stable vessel in SA waters.
Operating short cruises from the new Holdfast Shores Marina, Glenelg, sailing has never been this accessable in South Australia.
So Why Not Be Tempted!
Anyone can come along and join our 1½ hour cruises during the day or twilight cruises which regularly leave Glenelg on most evenings. However you will need to telephone for times and bookings as \'Temptation\' is sometimes booked for private charters. - Maximum 50 passengers.

It is the perfect destination for a day out: guaranteed to entertain the kids and give adults a few thrills as well.

There is no entry cost to The Beachouse. All the rides and games are accessed via the Fun Card system. The Fun Card is yours to keep. It is purchased for $2 on your first visit to The Beachouse. Purchase your Fun Card at either the cashier or one of the Fun Card ATMs, and then charge your card with the amount of credits you wish depending on which rides and games you want to go on.

Every time you return, bring your Fun Card to either the cashier or one of the Fun Card ATMs located on both the first and second level and recharge your card.

Historic Glenelg Town Hall takes pride of place as the home of the Bay Discovery Centre, a social history museum interpreting the cultural heritage of Holdfast Bay. The mezzanine gallery hosts exhibitions by emerging and established South Australian artists which celebrate and explore Holdfast Bay's beach culture and represent a diversity of media and practices ranging from paintings and photographs to ceramics, sculpture and jewellery. Artists featured in previous exhibitions have included David Archer, Andrew Baines, Robin Best, Christian Hall, Abbas Mehran, Tim O'Shea, Beverley Southcott, Claire Thompson-Richards, Leo Neuhofer and Gerry Wedd. The Bay Discovery Centre also features community and historical exhibitions, contributing to its distinctive blend of visual art, heritage and tourism.

Dodgem Cars - The only Soli Italian Formula One dodgem cars in Australia (The Rolls Royce of dodgem cars!). Bumper Boats - Each armed with cool water cannon. Play Castle - Five stories high with giant sea animals hanging from the roof. Carousel - The Beachouse is also home to the lovingly restored vintage carousel that was featured in the original Adelaide Luna Park. Ferris Wheel - With spectacular views of the beach and city. Just hop on the famous Glenelg tram in the city at Victoria Square and at the end of the line you will find yourself in Moseley Square, across from Adelaide's best seaside attraction - the Bay Discovery Centre. In addition to fantastic multimedia exhibitions, you will also find a mezzanine gallery which features a program of visual art exhibitions supporting and promoting the work of South Australian artists. The award winning volunteer team takes care of our front of house operations and will make you feel at home with a friendly smile and helpful information that only locals can provide. Entry is via gold coin donation with extended hours during summer.
