The ELCG is located within the foyer of the Eltham Library. The walls are mud brick. A hanging and lighting system is part of the ELCG and hanging rods and plinths are available for exhibitors.

Built in 1899, Bundoora Homestead is a magnificent Queen Anne style Federation mansion operating as a historic house, art gallery and cafe, registered by Heritage Victoria and certified by the National Trust.

Bundoora Homestead Art Centre is the public art gallery of the City of Darebin, it hosts a changing programme of contemporary art and craft exhibitions, public lectures and is home to the biennial Darebin Art Show.

The closest state park to Melbourne, Warrandyte is a haven for picnickers, bushwalkers, canoeists, birdwatchers and those who enjoy peace and solitude. The lightly wooded landscape is dominated by the Yarra River as it winds through the Warrandyte Gorge. The hills around Warrandyte have a distinctive bluish-green hue, typical of the Red Box foliage common in the area. In an isolated corner of the Yarra Valley among the high hills and lovely country of Kangaroo Ground, Redbox is a friendly, family-owned cellar door worth a detour. Cabernet Sauvignon is a speciality here, and the range of wines is certain to expand your experience of this great grape variety. Of course there are traditional Cabernet reds, but there's also a white version, a tawny, an 'ice Cabernet', and even a Cabernet jelly that's perfect with one of Redbox's cheese platters.' Ralph Kyte-Powell The eight acre vineyard in Kangaroo Ground at the Western end of the Yarra Valley in the Shire of Nillumbik was planted to Riesling, Chardonnay and Cabernet in 1986. The property was named "Wildfell" by a pioneering Scotsman, Walter Wippel, who settled this property in the Kangaroo Ground area in the early 1850's; establishing orchards, market gardens and grazing land. No doubt, wine production was high on the list of priorities, and the rich decomposed volcanic soils assisted in this pursuit. Over 150 years on, the Kangaroo Ground area has seen the establishment of a number of new vineyards due to the high quality of the fruit and ideal growing conditions. Petty's is one of Melbourne's oldest commercial orchards, and it holds the largest collection of apple varieties on mainland Australia, with more than two hundred varieties of old and rare apples. The car park and Demonstration Orchard are relatively flat providing disabled access, although tracks through the latter are fine gravel and mown grass which can be slippery when wet. The wetland and bird hide are less accessible and people with physical mobility problems will have to be fit to negotiate some areas. While managed by Parks Victoria, 25 hectares of Pettys is privately leased to a commercial operator. Please respect the rights of the orchardists by not entering this area or picking any apples. Samson Hill Winery and Restaurant at Kangaroo Ground, 28 kilometres north east of Melbourne CBD, was established in 1998 on a spectacular location overlooking the City of Melbourne, the surrounding mountains to Kinglake, the Dandenong's and much more. Birrarrung Park is a significant recreation space within the parks along the Yarra River, incorporating two large ephemeral wetlands. Several wood barbecues (wood is provided), picnic tables and shelters are available in the park. Fires are permitted only in the barbecues provided, and you are welcome to bring your own small gas barbecue. The toilet block at Birrarrung Park is wheelchair accessible. WaterMarc is the largest indoor aquatic and leisure facility in the northern region of Victoria with two giant water slides! Other features include a huge water play space including a 'zero depth' play area and an aquatic adventure playground with activity features. WaterMarc has a 50 metre pool which can be converted into two 25 metre pools, a learn to swim pool, a leisure and toddler pool, as well as a warm water program pool, spa, steam room and sauna.
