The Antill Park Country Golf Club, is located in the township of Picton at the southern slopes of the Razorback Mountains we are the proud custodians of a beautiful 18 Hole course which contains 12 holes flanked by water hazards.

At Picton Karting Track we take pride in our attention to detail of which safety is top of the list. All drivers are given thorough instructions on safety and are monitored throughout the event.

Important rules & regulations

Drivers must be 14 years of age and over. Driver’s under 18 years require guardian’s consent. Prior to any event the consumption of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Motor racing is dangerous and is a non-contact sport. Persons with medical conditions and pregnant women should seek doctor’s advice before undertaking any motorsport activities. Enclosed footwear is required, helmets and race suits are supplied at no extra cost.

Razorback Ridge Wines is located in the picturesque Macarthur region south of Sydney. It is an hour's drive from Sydney, 40 minutes from Wollongong and minutes from Camden.

This is a small family-run vineyard and cellar door. The first vines were planted in 2000. Varieties grown include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Verdelho. All fruit is hand-picked. Wines are made on site in the winery.

Visitors can relax in the lovely rural setting overlooking the vineyard and pastures while enjoying wine tasting, cheese platters, dips and local olives.

Langdale Farm is a family owned and run olive, sheep and cattle farm only one hour from Sydney. Enjoy the country hospitality, stroll amongst the olive trees, rose garden, pat and feed the pet sheep and enjoy morning or afternoon tea made using products from the farm. Sample the extra virgin olive oil and the many award winning jams, chutneys and citrus butters. They also make luxurious handmade natural skin care products from olive oil. Open for sales on Friday and Saturday 10am - 4pm. Tours currently not available.

The Picton Bowling Club strives to serve and satisfy their members and guests from throughout the Wollondilly Shire and visiting areas. Located just 90 kilometres south west of Sydney, the club is the place to be with a renewed Brasserie, live entertainment each weekend and plenty of activities for the young and old. At Picton Bowling Club they run Bingo every Monday morning and every Wednesday evening, line dancing and pool competitions every Tuesday night (conditions apply) and free trivia with a cash jackpot each Thursday night . Rooms are available for weddings and functions. Bookings are essential. Kids' discos are held every second Sunday. Self-guided walking tours through the historic village of Menangle, in the birth place of Australian agriculture and First Fleet Cowpastures. This village was a part of the Macarthur's ground-breaking Camden Park Estate founded in 1805 and it was the leader in wool, wine, brandy, milk and butter in the early days of the colony. It was the first pastoral company in Australia and was a major exporter, growing to 28,000 acres by 1830. Take a relaxing break in these picturesque surrounding with many walking tracks and cycling trails. The Park provides push button barbecues, wet weather/shade shelters for up to 50 people, clean bathrooms with disabled access and playground equipment for the kids. At the northern boundary you will see a walking path through to the tennis courts and oval. Follow the path until you reach the beginning of the cycle way, a nine kilometre return walk or ride on a flat surface. Parking for cars and coaches is available at RSL Park or on Regreme Road. The St Marks Church is situated in Church Street in the village of Appin. Building on the church commenced in 1840 and St Marks was consecrated in 1843. The stone walls are an attractive pale golden colour and the church now has a corrugated iron roof. There is a small cemetery with burials dating from 1840 onwards. Broughton Pass offers its best views after periods of heavy rain when the Cascade Waterfall, upstream from the bridge and weir, spills its waters into the Cataract River. The Broughton Pass Weir was built in the early 1880s and was part of the Upper Nepean Water Supply Scheme. Access is via Wilton Road just south of Appin. There is no access to the weir area as it is a restricted area of Sydney Water Catchment....

Viewed from the surrounding parkland, the Railway Viaduct over Stonequarry Creek is a picturesque site located at the end of Webster Street, Picton, which also has some historic old houses. It was built of sandstone between 1863 and 1867 at a time when John Whitton was responsible for railway construction in New South Wales. This excellent example of railway viaduct design is 84 metres long and has five arches, the highest measuring 30 metres. Close to Picton railway station, it was built for two lines of track and although it is not the first railway viaduct built in the state, it is considered unique because it is the oldest still in use today. ...

With roots in early film making, farming history and stunning surrounds, Razorback, Cawdor and Camden Park are great areas for visitors. The top of Razorback overlooks a panoramic view of Picton, Cawdor Valley, Camden and Sydney. These areas were used in scenes and backdrops for some of Australia’s earliest black and white films, Smiley and Smiley Gets a Gun with the famous Chips Rafferty. Razorback was also made famous with the Truckies Blockade in the 19070’s. A still monument stands in remembrance today. Cataract Dam may be impacted by bushfires in the region. Please note that conditions in Wollondilly may change over the Christmas period. Before undertaking any travel, please visit the NSW Rural Fire Service website to check affected areas and road closures. Cataract is the oldest and possibly the most picturesque dam in Sydney's water supply system. Completed in 1907, the 56 metre high dam holds water from a 130 square kilometre catchment, forming an 850 hectare lake with a capacity of 94,300 megalitres. The dams of the Upper Nepean collect water from the catchments of the Cataract, Cordeaux, Avon and Nepean rivers, which are tributaries of the Upper Hawkesbury-Nepean River. These systems supply water to the Macarthur and Illawarra regions, the Wollondilly Shire, and metropolitan Sydney. Facilities include picnic shelters, electric barbecues, drinking water, toilets, disabled toilets, playground and viewing areas....

Razorback is part of Wollondilly Shire and is known for its high steep hills. At the top of Razorback is a panoramic lookout over Picton, Cawdor Valley, Camden and Sydney. These areas were used in scenes and backdrops from some of Australia's earliest black and white films "Smiley" and "Smiley Gets a Gun" with Chips Rafferty. Razorback is the site for the historic Anthony Horden's Tree "While I Live I'll Grow" and was also made famous with the Truckies Blockade in the 70s where there is now a monument to the event. Bridges are not just functional; they can also be scenic and engineering attractions. Spare a few minutes to admire Victoria Bridge over Stonequarry Creek. This is a one way bridge for traffic with height restrictions. Victoria Bridge officially opened in 1897; it is 82.3 metres long and is of three spans of 27.4 metres. The height to the top of the truss is 31.4 metres. This is the second oldest Allan truss bridge built in New South Wales, and one of the largest of its type. Named after the village of Appin in Scotland, this historic town dating back to 1811 is one of the earliest colonial villages in the colony of Sydney. In 1824, explorers Hume and Hovell commenced their expedition to Port Phillip from this district, and a monument stands on the road from Campbelltown commemorating the beginning of that journey. Today, Appin has many colonial buildings to admire including the Appin public school, historic churches, and the Old Rectory. The Mushroom Tunnel, formally known as the Redbank Range Railway tunnel, is historically significant as the first railway tunnel used by the NSW Railways. The tunnel is a fine example of the stone masonry and design of the 1800s and is also one of the structures and works which provide evidence of the Great Southern Railway. During WWII the tunnel was used for defence storage until many years later when it was used to commercially grow mushrooms. Experiencing some tragedies in its time, the tunnel is rumoured by many locals to experience paranormal activity. Ghost tours frequented the location in the past to witness firsthand the cold and eerie surroundings inside the tunnel, however due to deterioration it’s now dangerous for visitors to walk through. Access to the Mushroom Tunnel is free and available on weekdays (closed public holidays). The tunnel can only be viewed from the outside to ensure visitors safety. If you’re looking to take your mountain bike out for a long ride, 10B cycling trail offers the perfect day out. At 15 kilometres long, it starts near the Appin Road entrance of Dharawal National Park and follows an unsealed road through open forest and woodlands along a sandstone ridge. This is a great bike ride for small groups and families with older children. The last three kilometres present more of a challenge, when the trail descends into Stokes Creek Gorge, leading to a good slog back up to the park’s northern entrance at Wedderburn. Pack a picnic and your binoculars because at the creek crossing, there’s a broad rock platform where you can stop for a break. Birds, including the raucous yellow-tailed black cockatoo, inhabit the area....
