At Picton Karting Track we take pride in our attention to detail of which safety is top of the list. All drivers are given thorough instructions on safety and are monitored throughout the event.

Important rules & regulations


Drivers must be 14 years of age and over. Driver’s under 18 years require guardian’s consent. Prior to any event the consumption of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Motor racing is dangerous and is a non-contact sport. Persons with medical conditions and pregnant women should seek doctor’s advice before undertaking any motorsport activities. Enclosed footwear is required, helmets and race suits are supplied at no extra cost.

Razorback Ridge Wines is located in the picturesque Macarthur region south of Sydney. It is an hour's drive from Sydney, 40 minutes from Wollongong and minutes from Camden.

This is a small family-run vineyard and cellar door. The first vines were planted in 2000. Varieties grown include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Verdelho. All fruit is hand-picked. Wines are made on site in the winery.

Visitors can relax in the lovely rural setting overlooking the vineyard and pastures while enjoying wine tasting, cheese platters, dips and local olives.

Viewed from the surrounding parkland, the Railway Viaduct over Stonequarry Creek is a picturesque site located at the end of Webster Street, Picton, which also has some historic old houses. It was built of sandstone between 1863 and 1867 at a time when John Whitton was responsible for railway construction in New South Wales. This excellent example of railway viaduct design is 84 metres long and has five arches, the highest measuring 30 metres. Cataract is the oldest and possibly the most picturesque dam in Sydney's water supply system. Completed in 1907, the 56 metre high dam holds water from a 130 square kilometre catchment, forming an 850 hectare lake with a capacity of 94,300 megalitres. The dams of the Upper Nepean collect water from the catchments of the Cataract, Cordeaux, Avon and Nepean rivers, which are tributaries of the Upper Hawkesbury-Nepean River. These systems supply water to the Macarthur and Illawarra regions, the Wollondilly Shire, and metropolitan Sydney. The Mushroom Tunnel, formally known as the Redbank Range Railway tunnel, is historically significant as the first railway tunnel used by the NSW Railways. The tunnel is a fine example of the stone masonry and design of the 1800s and is also one of the structures and works which provide evidence of the Great Southern Railway. During WWII the tunnel was used for defence storage until many years later when it was used to commercially grow mushrooms. Experiencing some tragedies in its time, the tunnel is rumoured by many locals to experience paranormal activity. Ghost tours frequented the location in the past to witness firsthand the cold and eerie surroundings inside the tunnel, however due to deterioration it’s now dangerous for visitors to walk through. At 15 kilometres long, it starts near the Appin Road entrance of Dharawal National Park and follows an unsealed road through open forest and woodlands along a sandstone ridge. The last three kilometres present more of a challenge, when the trail descends into Stokes Creek Gorge, leading to a good slog back up to the park’s northern entrance at Wedderburn.
