Dust off the excesses of the night before and join in with some family fun at Brooms Head. There are a multitude of races including sprints, distance, family relay, beach boat races, sandbag races, water carrying tug of war and the only place in Australia where you can compete at tossing a broom head in Brooms Head. There are market stalls through the park with food and refreshments available on the day. Gold coin donation is appreciated. This event is run in collaboration with Wires, Gulmarrad Bush Fire Brigade, Lions, and Lower Clarence Rugby League Club....

Brooms Head 3Bs Fun Run

***LATEST EVENT DETAILS ARE YET TO BE CONFIRMED*** The Brooms Head 3Bs fun run takes place in June each year and raises funds for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. One of the very best courses in NSW, run over five and ten kilometres through beautiful coastal scenery over bitumen, bush and beach. Organised by the Maclean Lions Club and with generous support from the Brooms Head Bowling Club, this event is kilometre marked, marshalled and timed. It's an ideal training run for the Gold Coast Marathon weekend in July. A great event for all ages, including prams, walkers and families....
