Laurel Hill Forest Lodge is the ideal venue for school camps, Duke of Edinburgh treks, family reunions, weddings, birthday parties, team building workshops, conferences, club getaways, religious retreats or just a quiet weekend with friends away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The Laurel Hill Forest Lodge offers eight accommodation units, each with their own living area, toilets and bathrooms, and sleeping quarters for between 10 and 20 people in either twin or single rooms. There is a dining complex where offering healthy menu options, using as much local produce as possible. Special dietary needs can be accommodated. There is a large recreation room available. The grounds offer several hectares of open fields suitable for ball games, a cement cricket pitch, and a volleyball net. Several bushwalking tracks start at the Lodge, allowing you to explore the forests that make up the Laurel Hill region.

Situated in the heart of Tumbarumba, this caravan park is beautifully set out on the banks of the Tumbarumba Creek, and located just behind the Tumbarumba Showground. The park offers a range of accommodation, from budget bunk rooms to deluxe cabins. It's a beautiful and shady park, within walking distance from the heart of town, and a swimming pool across the road. Shady powered van and tent site, well equipped camp kitchen, linen for hire, coin operated laundry, dogs permitted on leads.

The property has a country style garden shared with the rammed earth main residence and you are welcome to pick the flowers and enjoy the peace. There are lovely views at the rear of the property with cows and a beautiful stone cottage on the hill. At the front is a child friendly park and the shops, pool, gallery and cafes are just a short stroll away. Magenta Cottage can accommodate up to eight people in three bedrooms. Two Queen size beds and four singles. Full kitchen and laundry facilities and two bathrooms. All linen, towels, tea and coffee are provided. Plenty of games and books for you to enjoy. Magenta Cottage is located half way between Melbourne and Sydney and just over one hour from Wagga Wagga and three hours to Canberra, making it an ideal get away for the weekend or catch up with family....

Paddys River Cottage Retreat is set on 62 acres of farmland at the base of the Snowy Mountains. There is a charming, fully self-contained two bedroom mud-brick cottage, which can sleep up to seven people. It has a cosy wood fire, fully equipped kitchen, laundry and barbecue. Linen and towels are provided. The yard is fenced and outside pets are welcome to stay. Kick back and enjoy the relaxing space, drop a line in Paddys River to try and catch a brown or rainbow trout. Bird and wildlife abounds, in summer you can take a dip in the tranquil swimming holes and in winter take a short drive to the snow on a sealed road. There is plenty to do in the area with Hume and Hovell track close by, fishing, bush walking, ar doors, country inns, cafes and stunning scenery. It's also a short walk to Paddys River Falls.

This is a full APRA Championship Rodeo with a host of fun-filled events including local barrel race, poddy ride, bucking ponies, stallion chute out, poly saddle ride, Aussie Rules versus Rugby League steer ride challenge, saddle bronc and bareback, and bull ride featuring the big ScreenBull cam, chute cam and instant replays. There are full bar facilities and evening entertainment. ...

The cool climate of the Snowies produces the most intensely flavoured and high quality blueberries. At this family owned farm, you can either pick your own or buy them in already packed punnets - in season between December and March. Otherwise, there are twenty blueberry products available including sauces, jams, toppings, wine, port, and sparkling wine. All can be purchased at the packing shed....

The Pioneer Women's Hut at Glenroy Heritage Reserve is one of the best and most unusual small museums in Australia. Cleverly themed, it reflects the ingenuity of women in finding solutions to the challenges of looking after a family in early rural Australia. The accessibility and provenance of the diverse collection adds to its reputation. The Heritage Quilt Room exhibition is now open and displays "The Gift of Thrift" exhibition.
