Adams Beach Camping Ground is within walking distance of the Dunwich ferry terminal and the main streets of the township. Facing west and located directly on the bay, it enjoys magnificent sunsets and is perfect for boating enthusiasts and fishermen.
The camping ground has six unpowered sites and 20 powered sites.
Visitors can enjoy a range of attractions including the historic Dunwich Ceremony, Little Ships Club, North Stradbroke Island Museum and Indigenous art galleries are all within walking distance. The township has a supermarket, chemist, butcher, various cafes and a petrol station.
Adder Rock Camping Ground is situated on one of the island's northern beaches in the local community of Point Lookout. The camping ground is in a shady location, sheltered behind native tea tree and pandanus forests with direct access to Home Beach and Adder Rock surf beaches. Across the road is a general store and the Manta Lodge Scuba Centre.
The camping grounds have 107 (6X6) unpowered tents sites, 13 unpowered camper-van/trailer/ caravan sites, 26 powered sites, and also seven cabins.
Amity Point Camping Ground is well known for its tranquil beachfront bayside setting and is a favourite for young families for the white sandy beach, calm water and relaxed atmosphere. It has magnificent views over Moreton Bay to Moreton Island and the Glasshouse Mountains and also offers spectacular sunset views. The camping ground has sites in sunny open areas and shady glades under native cotton trees.
There are 143 (6x6) unpowered tent sites, 28 unpowered campervan/trailer/caravan sites, 23 powered sites and 13 cabins. Adjacent to the park is a boat ramp which is ideal for boating and fishing. Land-based fishing is aslo popular from the jetty and rock walls.
Amity Point Camping Grounds has a Manager on site, amenities and coin operated laundry facilities, playground equipment, camp kitchens - covered picnic area with barbecues and washing up facilities. Pets are not allowed.
There is plenty to see and do nearby, with several freshwater lakes, waterways and lagoons to explore. For fun and adventure, there are 4WD tours, fishing charters, sea kayaking tours, a golf course and bowling clubs.

Beachies accommodation consists of three modern, north-facing townhouses located in quiet Timbin Rd overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Deadman's Beach. Each self-contained townhouse faces north for winter sun and summer breezes. The townhouses each sleep up to eight people, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, upstairs and downstairs living areas, FOXTEL, outdoor and indoor dining areas, large covered decks with barbecue facilities and ocean views. There is also a lock-up garage for each townhouse with internal access. Located a short walk from beaches, restaurants, shops, public transport and the Stradbroke Hotel, Beachies offers the perfect home away from home.

Main Beach stretches for 38kms along the eastern side of the island. Camping is available in fifteen designated areas at the southern end of Main Beach, approximately 17km south of Point Lookout. There is big swell for surfing and excellent beach fishing. There are no facilities and access is by 4WDrive vehicle along the beach. Dogs are allowed, however they must be on a lead at all times. We allow 1 vehicle and 2 dogs per campsite. If you have more than 1 vehicle or more than 2 dogs please book more sites.
