You can visit the Mount Piper Power Station Energy Expo every day of the year, except Christmas Day, between 9am and 4pm, tours are available by prior arrangement. Here you'll be able to enjoy exhibits, models, displays, photographic and printed information, videos and touch screens and gain an understanding of the way NSW electricity is produced and distributed. While the tour mainly focuses on coal-fired thermal power stations, like EnergyAustralia's Mt Piper, you'll also get to explore information on developments in renewable energy sources.
